Defective furnitureSeleneWhen I assembled this piece, I noticed it had some manufacturing defects. One corner edge was slightly raised, one of the side bases had a dent on the inside, and one of the drawer slats was chipped. I bought this model in white, and none of these issues occurred.1
Perfect nightstand/dresserGraceI am using these as nightstands for my guest room. They are perfect size and height. The use of the drawers for guests is super helpful for them. Love this line of IKEA furniture.5
2nd worst Ikea purchaseNietoI've been a fan of Ikea for over 10 years. I think they've reached their peak and are now going down hill. The cam screws on this dresser is plastic, they break easily. I had to drive back to Ikea to get a replacement. Of course you can't replace them, but they gave me aluminum screws for another product that worked better. Finally, the piece of wood added across the bottom front edge of a cabinet, called a toe kick, is not flushed with the cabinet: https://imgur.com/a/QQl0udO1

VickyHi I bought the 3 drawer chest and I have to say I agree with most reviews , the look of the material looks high end but chips easily with out any wrong doing , I like the thicker backing of the furniture , just wish it was a bit wider like the MALM 3 drawer chest , I hope it goes back on sale so I can get a second one 4

Falls apart while buildingTiaraI am so incredibly annoyed that I spent about an hour assembling and once I was ready to stand the product up, it collapsed and all the wooden parts broke at the screw part. So disappointed by this. Almost $200 after tax and it was torn down in a matter of minutes. So cheap! Don’t waste your money or time.1

Really great piece…TomikaThis is my second STORKLINTA 3 drawer chest and I came back for the second because I absolutely love the first. I really like the versatility of the drawers locking to prevent accidents or, I can use the option to allow all of the drawers to open at once (not that I’d need that). I’ve owned a Malm set (a king set and this set) for the last 12 years but I love this upgraded line that IKEA produced.5
Recommend task rabbitChamieseAfter a week of planning my room update and dozens of pins on Pinterest, I finally ordered this dresser. Once the email confirmation came, I picked it and put my phone on DND. I turned on some dance music, grabbed my disco lights and followed the directions meticulously. For about an hour I went piece by piece to ensure accuracy. When it came time for box two, the entire structure fell apart. I tried relentlessly to make this happen. Admitting defeat, I packed all the pieces and returned. Next time I will solicit the assistance of a professional.1

An amazingly built chestJohnI have not purchased a chest or cabinet unit from IKEA in a long time. I was surprised how over engineered this chest it. It has an extremely thick floor base as well as thick back panels. I recall purchasing units with extremely thin back panels and bases the same thickness of a shelf. This unit is heavy because of the base thickness - I can't imagine it tipping over. The overall quality is perfect - every piece fit together exactly. This piece will last a long time and is not a cheap disposable chest. Only the price was cheap!5
Completely fine dresserJudiThis dresser was exactly what I would expect from Ikea. Fairly easy to put together, if you've ever assembled anything from Ikea before, you'll be fine. Very sturdy and looks clean and neat once it's finished. This is not a solid wood dresser, but for the price point, it's pretty nice.4
Not goodAliciaOf all the ikea furniture I have. This was the worst to assemble. The holes were not properly lined up, was literally crumbling - while hammering and screwing, wood flaking everywhere. I have many pieces from the Malm collection and have never had this problem. Save your money 1
Disappointed LaurenI was so excited to add this to my room. Spent an hour putting just the first part together JUST for the wrong pieces to have come in my order. Not just one, but TWO wrong boards were given making the dresser completely unusable. I’m very very disappointed as this is my first time buying from ikea :(… now have to go through the trouble of driving an hour to the store and handing the return. 1
