SEGLORA cover is made of aniline leather which is the finest type of leather of the highest quality. As it ages, it becomes softer and gets a darker tone and fine patina.
Aniline leather has an unaltered surface that is treated with just a thin, protective coating. This gives it great breathability while retaining its natural look with marks that make each cover unique.
The seat and back cushions provide comfortable support for your body and easily regain their shape because they’re filled with high resilience foam and polyester fibers.

Beautiful sofaRamtinAlthough it is one of IKEA's most expensive pieces of furniture, it is still a great deal for such quality.
Smooth, stylish, wide and super comfortable!VanniePerfect color and sizing for a couch, super smooth, beautiful color, wide seating and absolutely comfortable. Sofa came in one piece in huge zipper bag, package with absolute care; only assemble the leg pieces is required. I love the fact, that it's one whole piece; making this design very sturdy. If only there was a love seat, it would be even more super awesome but it doesn't. I love the design and color so much, I had to buy 2; and it was the best decision ever! It fits perfectly in my living room!

So comfy!NarndraWe got this when it was first introduced almost a decade ago. It aged beautifully and love the color of this sofa. The side pillows deformed over time, but I stuffed them with foam, so it all worked out. We are going to keep this for many more years.
The worn store display looked better.DavidWe have been wanting this sofa for a long time, and finally pulled the trigger and purchased it 2/12/25 reviewed on 2/27/25. The back pillows appear to be from a smaller sofa and have a gap between them of 4-6 inches. the bottom 1 pillow looks like it was made upside down. If you grab the outside of the sofa edges ( at the top) the leather slides and you have to re-adjust everything to get back ( somewhat) to the squared off original look. I know, the sofa is "not broken in yet" but I am not complaining about the comfort. The gap between the back pillows at least is consistently large between the pillows, but there is not enough fabric to age into filling the gaps. It seems like this sofa was not made to the standards of the ones that were on display. Sadly Ikea does not allow pictures. When Ikea goes to respond to this review, please note that I have already reached out to customer service with pictures, their response was just to bring it back.... good idea.
Looks great 10 years later!SusannaWe purchased in 2014 and 10 years later (and one transatlantic move) it still looks great! It is comfortable for everyday use and goes great with the cute leaf shape coffee table set. Adds color while still fitting in with the natural Scandi-vibe.
Leather paint comes off!AnnieMy sofa looks like crap because gentle wiping with a cloth results in the leather paint coming off and discoloration.

Super comfyKatelinI got this couch a few months ago and so far it has seen heavy use. Super comfortable and can even fall asleep on it in an instant. Wish there were matching chairs!
Love this couch!TeriThis sofa has a clean sleek look. It is very firm. So far it wears well. It is a great value compared to others I have been looking at. The bottom cushions are great! The spaces between the back pillows are just a little too big and I wish they were leather completely around just like the arm pillows. I love the feel and color of it!

Beautiful, comfortable, LOVE the color. Only negative comment I have corresponds with a previous review ‘My only critique would be that the the seat-back cushions have cloth on their rear, which can sometimes be visible from behind the couch if the cushions have been disturbed.’ I don’t entertain anyone that would be offended by the “cloth” gap so, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. 😁

Id advice you to look into the store to see if color is what you are looking for, for me is a bit more orange than picture but I new what I was buying.
What is not good is that not all surfaces are cover with leather and if you move the cushions a bit, an ugly fabric finish it's visible.
GorgeousTraceyThis Stockholm couch is absolutely gorgeous. It is confortable and a great new addition to my homestead. The only thing I would change is making the back cushions a tad larger. There is too much play between them and you can see the fabric on the back of the frame because of it.
After 5 years, recommendedAndrejI've had this leather sofa in my main living area for five years, where it has withstood heavy use and aged handsomely.
A reviewer mentioned that the cushions off-gassed unbearably. My sofa has never smelled unpleasant.
A different reviewer mentioned that the leather discolored unevenly with age. I would suggest it is typical with real leather to expect different cuts and thicknesses to age slightly differently. Also you can't expect a leather this soft to retain its form totally uniformly (as opposed to say a leather car seat, which is treated very heavily with chemicals to give it an almost plastic feeling).
If you fit length-wise, this sofa is incredibly comfortable to sleep on.
My only critique would be that the the seat-back cushions have cloth on their rear, which can sometimes be visible from behind the couch if the cushions have been disturbed.
You can clean it thoroughly with a leather cleaner like Lexol and it will not get damaged.
Great leather sofaJohnTried this two different times in store. Delivery and assembly were simple and smooth. It’s great for watching tv or an afternoon nap. Very happy with the purchase.
After 5 years, would not recommendAndreaI have had this sofa for 5 years and the colors have all faded/darkened at different rates. Two back cushions looks yellow, one looks dark brown. Bottom cushions and main frame do not match. This is a disappointment, considering the price.

VOCs - Volatile Organic CompoundsScottI saw this sofa in the Burbank CA showroom on Saturday, sat in it for 15 minutes, and bought it online the next day. It was delivered on Wednesday. However, after assembly, it began filling up the house with VOCs (volatile organic compounds), irritating my eyes, throat, causing a headache, etc. This is not typical "new furniture smell" that I've dealt with in the past. It became so bad that I had to ask a neighbor to help me carry it outside to the deck the next day.
None of the other reviews here mention this problem, so I'm wondering whether this is a one-off, or whether the fumes will dissipate within a reasonable amount of time.
Customer service got back to me and is contacting the manufacturer to get these basic questions answered to help me decide the next course of action: wait?, return?, exchange?
Leather peelingJackHave had this couch for about 10 months and the seat cushions are peeling already. I have yet to get a response from IKEA, but it doesn’t seem like very high quality for an expensive couch to already be showing extreme signs of wear. Love everything else about the couch but wish IKEA would replace the bottom two cushions that are already peeling.
