Freezes food like a cheap fridge AlexThe fridge is poorly constructed; I can't level the doors or the appliance itself because the bolts lack enough thread. The biggest issue is that it freezes food even when it's not touching the walls, despite the manual's guidance to keep food an inch away. I have set the temperature to 40, yet it still freezes my delicate greens. The brand is Frigidaire, not Whirlpool as before. I plan to return it since it's not worth the cost. 1

freezer supports keep breakingDavidi bought this fridge back in Jan 2025 and already have had continuous issues with the freezer drawer slide support rails breaking. I'm on my fourth one on the left side and third on the right, they are made of plastic and guess what when plastic freezes it becomes brittle and they are breaking from just sliding the door open. they keep breaking at the forward support of the rails, and they are $164.99 to replace, not cheap. Thanks Ikea for selling a garbage fridge with an unusable freezer!1
Very poor warranty supportSaravanamuthuPurchased the fridge with hope Ikea will provide a better warranty and customer service. It is pathetic, I raised a request and it's been 2 months yet to get a reply. Every email and customer support says 24 to 48 hours response but none. Reached the warehouse shop and requested and they gave toll free no option or return only. Please don't buy fridge with Ikea , for me return shipping at own is a nightmare.1
Horrible…DavidFreezer drawers are supported with plastic rails which break very easily. We have gone through no less than 4 of them since we bought this refrigerator this past January. The rails are not cheap, found them on Amazon for $174 a piece so plan for that. Refrigerator builds up a lot of condensation in it as well. As I am typing this I have a broken right hand rail on my freezer that I am currently waiting on parts for. Stay away from this fridge!1

Great fridge, horrible quality controlKhalilWe purchased our first unit back in December, today we're in March and we're on our 4th placement of the fridge. The first one had physical damage where the chassis was not straight and it would not fit in the area that the fridge goes into. The second one had a big dent on the door which we did not see until we took all the protective foam off, so it was clearly damaged before it was packaged. The third unit had the same issue as the first one but eventually killed itself from a water leak inside the door. Now we're on the 4th unit and the fridge refuses to make any ice whatsoever. It's crazy that there are so many issues with the fridges from our area, and Ive asked the local IKEA to send us a unit that was recently manufactured, but all we've been receiving are 2 to 3 year old units that have been sitting in the warehouse. I'm not trying to knock on the fridge, but whoever is manufacturing these for IKEA is doing an absolute horrible job and I would NOT recommend this fridge.2

Great refrigerator!Anonymous reviewerI have had this fridge for four months, and it is the best I have owned. The tall water/ice dispenser allows me to fit my 1 liter Nalgene bottles with room to spare. The water filter is easy to install and I have it auto-order from the Frigidaire website. I also order the air filter and crisper drawer filters from Frigidaire as well. My son uses the cold drink timer to cool a drink quickly in the freezer without it freezing and exploding. The adjustable temperature in the wide drawer allows you to easily keep cold drinks, meat, etc at the correct temperature. The shelves adjust easily and will enable you to fit everything you need and see it all at a glance. The freezer is easy to keep organized with the pull-out drawer and divider. Overall this is a great refrigerator!5

Online instructions are incorrect.AndyThe fridge is okay. However, the instruction guide Ikea provides on its web page is incorrect. We ordered filters (both air and water filters) only to discover the instructions have the incorrect model numbers. $100 in filters down the drain because Ikea can't get its written documentation on order. Leaving a review with the hopes that others don't run into the same difficulties.1
OK fridgeBrianLooks nice, freezer is decent, relatively small size. Icemaker works (unlike samsungs). For refrigerator: Any product next to the back center plate(pictured) - will freeze solid (sour creams, salsas, dough). OK built, but our door assembly was missing lubricant (manufacture sent third party fixed it), There needs to be a taller option. BUT Ikea-ElectroLux support is horrid: rep faked phone noise on digital phone to avoid sending us a replacement for out of the box bad filter after 4 calls.3
Arrived not working properlyAndrewWe have terrible frost build up in the freezer and intermittent, very loud buzzing from the fridge. Trying to get the wrapping off the product was very difficult also, especially along the freezer/fridge doors.1
Great Fridge!JessicaI've had this fridge for a couple of years now. No complaints. Spacious, water and ice on demand, and, as someone who hates bottom freezers because they're so hard to organizer, a pretty good one in terms of keeping things relatively easy to access.5
FridgePeggyThe fridge is great. I’ve had it a couple of months. I’ve been trying to get with Electrolux for filters and that’s a pain. I’ve called three different times with over a 45 minute wait time. They need to have it to were u can order this filter online. I looked and it didn’t find this filter model number. But none of this is IKEA’s fault but possibly they could look into this or actually carry the filters5
