unavailable for delivery...againnicole m.these are great glass mugs for that quick cup of tea or coffee. i grasp the mug entirely -- rarely by its handle (which is not as irksome as one would think). my only complaint is that it took months to initially order stelna b/c it was unavail.; then, when i wanted to re-order, it was again out of stock for delivery. clearly, people love it.5
Ok but wish I didn"t buyNathan M.To be clear, they are just as they are pictured. The mistake was mine. As smallish sized man (150Lbs) these cups are entirely too small. They are 8oz. My mistake. I just didn't anticipate their size. The handle (not really) is a joke. You'd better have a good grip. Without somewhere to actually "grip", drinking from these cups is a challenge. I have to just grab the whole cup. Making any handle kind of pointless. If used as intended it forces you to drink with your pinky out. All pretentious like. In short, these cups are silly. The handle is a useless tab on the side of a cup. Unless you like drinking tea as if you are dainty and sophisticated.3

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
