Have two of themKevinWe bought two of them and they are exactly what we wanted. Each one comes in four boxes and is very detailed in how they need to be put together. They are beasts so unless you have hours of time and patience I recommend hiring someone to assemble them.

Cheaply made not real WoodMildredThe picture of the Wardrobe closet is very pretty but it took a skilled Carpenter 5 hrs to put it together and whatever it is made of, is not wood and cracked in quite a few places. Not recommended and I'll never buy anything from Ikea that has to be put together ever again!!!.
Great Wardrobe StuartPurchased Songsand Wardrobe a few weeks ago and it is a perfect addition to our home. It provides extra storage as well as closet hanging space and looks great with the center mirrored door. It is very sturdy and has a very nice finish. We were able to purchase new handles that match the furniture in the room where it is being used.

All I can say shame on IKEA selling this cheap product. Also shame on IKEA designer or engineer who designed this product. Since I was familiar with IKEA products I was able to figure out and assemble it. Manual is so complicated with the 4 boxes you received to figure out what to do with it. Pieces are not marked as it should be to follow the steps of assembly. Cheap product. But what you accept for $299.00
I’ll never buy any furniture from IKEA ever again. And I would not recommend to my friends and family. It’s a disaster. What I spent on the cabinet, went to my trash cans.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
