SONGESAND bed storage boxes work perfectly with SONGESAND bed frame. They fit neatly into the space under the bed and will be flush against sides.
The storage boxes are easy to roll out and in thanks to the castors on the base.
You can separate your linens and duvets since the combination includes one narrow and one wide storage box.
Adjustable bed sides allow you to use mattresses of different thicknesses.

Twin size is differentJessicaI have purchased this bed twice before, in white and queen sized, but the twin size is slightly different. It has a cam bolt lock right in the dead center of the headboard. (??!!??) It’s not shown in the pictures and I checked and double checked to see if I screwed up the assembly but nope- there it is! Obviously the look of it does not affect the functionality of the bed, but I notice it every single time I look at the bed. This is the bed we got for my son after he outgrew his toddler bed and I’m stuck with it. I also need to find a better way to secure the Luröy slats under the mattress because he likes to pick up the mattress, scoot the slats back (or off the rails entirely), and burrow behind the drawers. I used the provided hardware for holding them in place but it’s not enough to stop them from being used not “as intended.”

Nice bed while it lastsEdwardHad this bed for 4 years now. Generally it is a nice bed, but after three years the vinyl covering on the pressboard started peeling away. The biggest problem is the frame begins to loosen over time. Bed is only slept on. But the connectors to the headboard need to be tightened every 6 months or so to the point they wear out. I did get replacement connectors from IKEA but after a month, the same problem and the bed squeaks getting in and off it just rolling over. Great idea but not durable.

Lovely bed!MaryI purchased two of these beds for my grandchildren to sleep in when they visit and they love them. They weren’t too difficult to assemble and they’re very attractive. The under bed storage is wonderful, especially for the small room these are in. One note I should mention is that the bed uses a slightly smaller mattress than standard, so be aware if you buy one someplace other than IKEA.
Wonderful bedBobbiI bought this bed for my grandson when he visits. I especially like the storage underneath. The bed is very solid but easy to move for cleaning.
Decent bedBeccaThe bed overall is fine- seems sturdy enough. I like the drawers, but because they aren't attached to the bed (and the one is quite large) they are a little cumbersome. They do hold a lot so that is a plus.
Good for the moneyElizaGot this bed in 2019 for my 8-year-old daughter. Easy assembly. We Had the mattress in the highest position and the slots started falling down. My husband eventually had to lower it, use different screws, and put plywood under the slots so it doesn't keep separating. So far we're keeping it even though it makes a little squeaky noise. It's a good bed overall, we love the storage options .

Great bed for kids’ roomHoanWe recently upgraded both kids’ beds in their shared room and they absolutely love it. The classic look of the frames keeps everything looking neat and organized. Their beds are spaced symmetrically in the room, with window and curtains behind the headboard. Overall it is just very pleasant to look at. Frame seems quite study. The bed is easy to make as there is room to tuck in the comforters. We keep kids clothes, stuffed animals, and some toys in the drawers. Great purchase.

Looks good but flimsy and cheap materialsWilliamThis looks nice but I don't expect it to last long. Some of the particle board was crumbling as I was building it. The twist in discs that used to be metal are now thin plastic.

PerfectLeslieThis was the perfect size for my daughter and the drawers were the perfect size to hold her sheets and blankets, plus her AFO’s when not wearing them. The purple twin mattress didn’t quite fit the whole frame so we used a few throw pillows to fill in the gap at the bottom.
