Built-in LED light source.

The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.

Batteries should be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.

Batteries are sold separately. IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable battery HR03 AAA 1.2V 750mAh, 3 pieces required.

Observe the polarity marks plus (+) and minus (−) and ensure correct battery insertion into the product.

A built-in timer turns the lights on at the same time every day and keeps them on for 6 hours.

Love it, but it took a minuteAgnieszkaSo, I really like this battery operated lamp. It gives enough light to see a little bit at night and creates a nice mood, but it's not so strong that it wakes you up immediately. That's what I was looking for and it's great. BUT, I almost returned it because I couldn't get the on/off switch to work when I was putting the bottom cover on. It takes a minute to figure out, but once you do, it works and looks great.5

Adorable lamp!ChettinaI have two of these and love them. They have a great quality glass cover and are a good weight so they don’t blow over outside. The lights are not super bright so when using them outside at night they don’t cause your eyes to have issues going from a light to dark area. Overall its for ambiance, not for trying to read after dark outside- great lamp!5
