SÖDERHAMN seating series allows you to sit deeply, low and softly with the loose back cushions for extra support.
The various sections of the seating series can be connected together in different combinations or used separately.
We have many removable covers to choose from, so you can always find one that you like for your new sofa or when you want to update the one you have at home with a new cover.
You can sit in comfort with a slight, pleasant resilience thanks to the elastic weave in the bottom and high resilience foam in the seat cushions.

The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 242 lbs.

Does not lastDanielleWe replaced this couch in less than a year. The cushions were so thin we avoided sitting on it and would apologize for it when company came over.
My family is convinced that the showroom models are softer than the actual product. We feel bamboozled and have never had a problem like this with IKEA.
We noticed when we assembled it that the cushions were not as comfortable as we remembered from the showroom but thought we could deal with it and by the time we got fed up, it was too late to return.
Pictures are deceivingSamCouch is suppose to be extra soft... it's not. You will not sink into it. The covers all have to be ironed before install. The covers feel like burlap. Couch looks great, i've sat on it at the store over the years, this aint it. Not sure what IKEA did here but it's awful.
Love itPricillaIt was easy to assemble and it fits in our little living room. Love how low and wide the seats are. We ended up buying more throw pillows for comfort.
