Floor model deceptionMindyThe floor model we saw had an inner bucket which was missing from the item we brought home. As others have noted, the waste can is practically useless without the inner bucket. The inner bucket, apparently from another model, fit the Snorka perfectly making it an ideal countertop composter. Mr. Ikea should definitely reconsider providing the inner bucket, especially at this price.
No Internal BucketBI agree with Sheree. When I went to empty it, there was no internal bucket. I was disappointed. I purchased the trash can so I wouldn't have to use a bag, which is environmentally unfriendly. The bottom is perforated so a bag must be used or else there is debris underneath. I assumed it had a bucket. Should not have assumed and opened in store to verify. My bad.
I'll be returning since it is useless for my needs.

Poor things: thick inner rolled metal rim that rips every bag, perforated bottom so water spills out when trying to rinse after bag rips, lid won’t stay open unless foot is on pedal.

Not too handy for counter compost bin.KarinThere is no way to keep the lid open when I am paring an apple, cutting vegetables or making salads. It gets messy. When I try to pull out the compostable bag, it will sometimes rip - making a big mess. Otherwise, it is the perfect size and I think I will use it in my small bathroom.

Nice Small Waste BasketMichelleI like this small stainless steel waste basket. It has a quiet-close feature and doesn't slam close like most pedestal waste baskets. The best part was that this required no assembly - just take it out the box and go.
