Doesn't last even a yearChrisThis came as part of a bedframe set we purchased. We have had this bedframe for less than a year, and the Skorva is already tearing. Not bending, not having threads stripped, it's literally tearing. How does a piece of metal that has support holding it up even tear??? And it happened outside the 180 day period. Gonna have to get a new one, but I'm not happy about it2
Not strongLukeJumped on my bed and that thing bent in half like a piece of butter.1
Saved the day!AmandaI purchased this to repair an 18 year old ASPLUND bed. Fit perfectly and bed was repaired same day. So glad IKEA has this part available to purchase.5
reinforcementLuizIt is a necessary reinforcement in some bed models. I found it to be of good quality.5
Good, not greatSarahI’ve had to replace this part twice on my son’s bed. It’s inexpensive so it’s not a huge deal but I’d rather it be a bit sturdier for a few more bucks3
Camper buildMelissaGreat quality and good price for bed rails attached to my camper van. 5
Break often LaylaThis is a terrible product that you will have to constantly replace. For reference, I am 5’2 and weigh 118 lbs - so weight is not the issue. My 2nd beam just broke and I have not even had it for a full year! But, because it’s over the 6 month time, IKEA will not accept the return or exchange it. Both of my beams have broken at the end of the bed where the beam connects to the bed bracket. The metal piece on the beam that fits into the bracket starts to bend and eventually it snaps, causing the beam to collapse. I’m really disappointed in IKEA, the reviews show this is a common problem and they are doing nothing to fix it or give customers a replacement. Why? 1

Great replacementCliffGreat replacement for the one that previously broke.5
Easy to shopYoussryI bought the product online and was easy shipping easy pickup and installation.5
Broke after 3 years.StanleyWe have this center support beam on our Malm King size bed. Me and my wife, together are around 350lb. This support beam broke today, sheered right at the hook where it connects to the head piece. IKEA representative told us that there is no warranty on this piece. Bad service, was hoping for better from IKEA. 1
Wasn’t needed MercedesUnfortunately, it would not fit the bed I bought and also wasn’t needed. I’ll be returning it as soon as I figure out how to get it back to the store, that doesn’t cost as much as the item.1
Good qualityAnaIt fits perfectly and it is made with good quality materials5
Replacement AgainGordonIf there is one overriding flaw with Malm Beds it is this piece. The brackets it attaches to are weak and have failed twice on our bed. The piece itself has bent on one occasion as well. As I am a 200lbs (90kg) this should not occur. Fortunately, it is a cheap repair, but clearly, it will probably need to be done again. Perhaps higher grade material and more robust attachment will be in order during the next production cycle.3
Skorva bed railsGeorgeI used these for an RV bed support. Worked really well. Very happy with the quality. 5
Simple but sturdy JohnThese are a clever way to support bed slats. We recently had to take apart the bed to move it. This support was easy to remove. If you do need to disassemble IKEA furniture, it helps if you kept the instructions. 5
