So Pretty!KaraWe bought this table because we host meals with large groups a lot of the time. We love it. It is so sturdy and beautiful. We also have little ones and it is very easy to wipe clean with kid messes. Assembly was also pretty simple and quick!
Chairs broke easilyDominicThe table itself is very sturdy and beautiful. However, the chairs are extremely flimsy, and the leg rails often come out of the chair itself. They require tightening almost weekly. One chair's leg rails broke completely, just from a 75 lb child sitting on it. I have had this dining set for a little less than 11 months and 3 out of the 6 chairs are unsturdy and are no longer being used. The chairs do look great, they are just very weak and unsafe. I do not believe the chairs are covered under warranty so now I am unsure what to do with the broken one. I cannot find a replacement rail on the website as well... The table itself I would give 4 or 5 stars. Unlike the chairs, it is very sturdy and beautiful. You only need to be careful what you place on it as it indents and scratches easily. I wish Ikea had a table cover just for this table.

Love this dining set!KarenI absolutely love this dining set. Solid and sturdy, fits my space perfectly! After we moved into our new home, I planned to used this table and chairs temporarily in my dining space until I ordered one from Pottery Barn. However, after putting it in my space, I loved how it looks so much that it will be my permanent dining set. Even with ordering extra chairs, I saved several thousand dollars!
Wide Gap between PlansRidgwayAlthough the table is beautiful wood, there is a much wider space between the two top planks that was not described in the online description. Food will get in there and the gap could inadvertently tip something placed between the two planks.
