We have ground down defective products and reused the material in this dinnerware. It consists of 65-70% internal factory waste and 30-35% virgin raw materials to retain adequate technical properties.

SILVERSIDA tableware is suitable for all kinds of settings, occasions and dishes – everything from fancy three-course dinners to spontaneous tapas evenings.

Use the entire tableware at the same time or enjoy the splash-painted surface as a bold detail together with a more toned-down table setting.

Matches NON IKEA tableware WendyWe've only been using these dishes for over a week, and they have been very durable. These matches our higher end non IKEA products, and we really like how they were made. We purchased the smaller bowl plates, plates, and larger plates, as a set of two. I believe these will be used on the daily. They are durable but handle quite heavy. Just be reminded of that.5

When I designed SILVERSIDA tableware, I wanted it to be suitable for all kinds of settings, occasions and dishes – both fancy three-course dinners and spontaneous tapas evenings. To make the tableware also work for casual TV dinners and other times when you don't eat at the dining table, I made an easy-to-grip edge. The material is recovered, and the splash paint helps reducing leftover waste since it hides any small flaws. Beautiful – and yet functional
