Makes life a breezeVanInstallation was a matter of one afternoon. I love ikea, should have done the entire kitchen with ikea. Next time I will redo the kitchen, it will be with ikea.5
This is my third kitchenJoyceThis is my third kitchen remodel using Sektion. Absolutely love this product and would use it again!5
Made a PantryFREDUsed the two cabinets to make a built in pantry. The quality is outstanding for the price and everything was really well engineered.5
Works As IntendedRenaI'm glad the website recommended the hanging bar when I ordered the cabinet or I'd have had to wait to order it before installing. The hanging rail for Sektion cabinets works as intended, is sturdy, and is fairly easy to hang.5
Excellent product for the money!Casimir S.Excellent product for the money!4

My dream little kitchenKARLAIts a good quality for a little money5
Easy to use and hang cabinets.Papa51Pre bought these rails and a few upper and lower cabinets to help with kitchen layout. Ordered the rest of my kitchen to take advantage the sale on Boyden gray drawers, trim, and doors. Unfortunately COVID closure messed with the sale.4
Easiest way to hang cabinets !Tom66Simple to hang ; hit the studs , make sure it is well anchored for the weight of the cabinets .5
Really Holds UP the UnitJan J Sun CityI bought the suspension rails to hold up some Kallax shelf units. I wanted to store my yarn so I could actually find the right color, size & etc. It looks good. Almost decorative. The rails hold the slightly heavy shelving units and all the yarn securely.5
Holes on the rail hard to align with studs insideHandymanCHoles on the rail hard to align with studs inside, has to drill additional holes on rail.3
What are they thinking?Shelley123456I designed cabinets for my laundry room that are 66” in length. The computer tells me I need to hang them from this suspension rail. It is 83” and doesn’t fit on the wall. No problem they say, just use a hacksaw to cut the steel. Seriously? Make some shorter lengths!1
So handy67 year old ladyI installed one base cabinet without the rail and how frustrating to try and mount it in an old home with unlevel floors and walls. The next 9 cabinets were a breeze to get in place and I appreciate all the ingenious details that made is so helpful in hanging the cabinets.5
No Fuss Cabinet InstallationeastcoastgirlI've installed two different kinds of cabinets in my house. The first ones were not Ikea. And because I'm in an old house, the words plumb and square mean nothing so we ended up using a piece of wood to do exactly what this does just not as smoothly. This bar makes cabinet hanging an absolute breeze. I still can't believe how fast I was able to hang them. All my husband had to do was help me keep it level and help me lift the cabinets!5
Great suspension railAASRThis rail is great - I could easily mount it to the studs through the holes. The CON: some studs may not align with the holes. If you do not have a large number of studs, you may not find enough studs to mount it on.5
Screws?JosephthecarpenterSimple and secure way to hang cabinets, as others have said 16 inch on center holes would be nice for us non-metric lazy Americans. Use cabinet rated screws (Google that term) into studs, A fully loaded cabinet weighs hundreds of pounds, potentially lethal if it falls. Drywall screws do not have sheer strength. No moly bolts.5
Not required but good idea!IM JoeMakes installation easier to lift units into place, and stronger by making it easier to hit studs. One complaint, not enough pre-drilled holes at 16 centers for US markets.5
Makes it EasyNWArtI've installed traditional and Ikea cabinets, the suspension rail is the best method. Make sure there are adequate studs for rail support, and read the directions. I've used spax washerhead screws 1/4 X 3 with the suspension rail, and they work great, you need a T-30 drill bit.5
Works as intendedLevarotarMakes the hanging of cabinets much easier and more secure5
What type of screws? Who knows!j24s9t39IKEA doesn't include the necessary screws with this item, or instructions on which screws to buy. I wish they had not omitted that information here especially since the base cabinets will hang on this suspension rail (pretty important). I've been Googling to see what people recommend and honestly that has not been very helpful. IKEA could improve by sending the needed screws or at least include the specs for what type to buy.2
