Love my cabinets, DON’T BUY THE BLUEAnonymous reviewerI redid my kitchen a few years ago with Axstad blue lowers and white uppers. I love love love my cabinets, the functionality is great and the Axstad fronts are beautiful. HOWEVER the blue is impossible to clean. And they show every single water droplet and fingerprint, and they don’t clean off easily at all. It took a lot of experimentation, the only thing that worked for me was Dawn power wash spray, repeatedly scrubbing it everywhere with a microfiber cloth, then buffing it off with a clean dry microfiber cloth or soft lint-free kitchen towel. It takes me an hour to clean them, and within three days they look awful again with watermarks and fingerprint smudges. Meanwhile, my whites barely show fingerprints. They look great and I think I’ve only cleaned them once in four years. DON’T BUY THE BLUE, SAVE YOURSELF.

Assembly is tricky but cabinets are worth itCarlosThe assembly of the hardware that attaches the drawer front can be tricky. Study & then restudy the placement of the screws and part 126888 when attaching it to the drawer front. It's different for each drawer level. We got 1 right & 1 wrong; trying to correct ended up in a bit of, luckily hidden & glueable, damage. Watching YT videos & reading everything we could about assembly was invaluable to installing the base cabinets, countertop, & sink. It's not super easy, but it is doable with patience and two people. That all being said, the cabinets are wonderful. Drawers glide easily & hold a lot. The Veddinge goes well with our 1950's, sturdy, plain front upper cabinets that we didn't want to replace. Choosing a SEKTION kitchen over box store cabinets was the right one. Our tiny kitchen is functional now. Couldn't be happier. Would absolutely chose these again.

IKEA cabinets are the bomb and drawers the nitroAnonymousWe recently DIY renovated our kitchen, swapping out cheesy white raised panel cabinets with no drawers to all base drawers with some drawers within a drawer, enabling us to use 2 drawers on all perimeter cabinets creating a very sleek, modern vibe. We used just 6 open shelves and no uppers, and I increased the storage significantly while making it look like less. The Maximera drawers are wonderful, fully extending and closing softly no matter what is stored in them. A realtor friend commented we've got a $50K kitchen in our home now, about 10x the cash expenditure.
