Kitchen Cabinet ExperienceAnonymous reviewerWe do not recommend IKEA for cabinets. We had IKEA come and measure, we went in after the measure & met a specialist who helped us design the kitchen. After the in-store meeting, had another virtual appointment to go over everything. We moved forward, and everything was delivered. Once the cabinets were being installed, we found that the person that came & did the initial measure did not measure correctly which caused a re-vamp of everything, some cabinets fit, some had to be returned. When we called IKEA about this, they said this was very unusual, & for us to bring the cabinets in that did not fit, & they would/and should definitely make an accommodation due to their errors in measuring & the fact that we had to drive an hour back to IKEA and once we were there, it took literally 6 hours for them to figure out the return and ring up the new purchase (which ended up being more than we had initially spent). They were unwilling to accommodate us in any way, bad customer service.2

Impossible to buildMelissaI have an island that a customer service person designed. I have 42 boxes.. Missing parts and the cabinets are not easy to build off of the directions.1
