Do not purchaseCoryThe brackets are so cheaply made, causing our shelf to come crashing down at 4am last night. The part mounted to the shelf was still attached and sturdy as they day I mounted it, but the bracket came apart at the joints, exposing regular wooden pegs keeping it all together. I wouldn't trust these again, knowing how poorly they are constructed. Do yourself a favor and don't put anything valuable on these shelves.

Poorly constructed and unsafeMichaelThese shelf supports are unsafe and fell apart in under a year under light load.
We installed 3 shelves to hold lightweight things like boxes of yarn, cat toys, and extra cleaning supplies. The shelves looked great once installed, but in less than a year the supports came apart at the wooden dowels.
It looks like they were not glued together and were poorly constructed. Nearly all of the supports failed due to the weight of the shelf. We used 3 supports per shelf that were 21" apart for a 47" shelf.
I used a different style of bracket for another shelf and it is still going strong with textbooks on it.
If you are looking for a stable shelf, DO NOT USE.

Does the job looks niceCraigNo included screws! These shelf mounts work well once you get them on the wall. They really do look nice with white shelves. However each mount only has 1 screw hole to attach to the shelf with. 1 should be ok but 2 would be better. IKEA offered this to me in a prebuilt white shelf + wall mount package and I was surprised when the shelf was a different brand and it didn’t come with any fasteners. Luckily I had all the mounting hardware needed however this easily could’ve required extra trips to hardware store that could’ve been prevented if IKEA simply included the screws on the misleading bundle. I also had to measure and pre drill the holes in the shelf which again caught me by surprise since I didn’t go out of my way to buy mismatched wall mounts and shelves without hardware.
Nightmarishly difficult installationAaronLevel placement depends on width and depth of screws, which Ikea will not provide for liability reasons. So you have to guess and fiddle around to get it to work with your own screws.
Install requires a lot of guesswork and frustration that could have been avoided if IKEA included a template or measuring guide of some sort. Looks great, but I won’t be buying any more in the future because of install experience.
Mounting these sucks cause of the keyhole hanger.JamesCombining a keyhole hanger and one bolt hole makes for a sucky mounting experience. Hard to install on drywall.

Gross colorHollyWent into the store for this, but when I got there they were the completely wrong color. Aspen wood should be light and white toned, the ones at the store are gross and yellow/green. Can't imagine if I ordered these online and had gotten them in looking like that..

Not easyAnonymous reviewerOut of all Ikea products, the shelves require the most work to get right. You need the right hardware for your wall. You need to do very good measurements to get level and to line up multiple shelves AND to attach the shelf to the bracket. Mess anything up and you end up with wobbly uneven and possibly unsafe shelves.
