My kid loves itThomasI got this for my kid just recently and he loves it. Its cool enough that he doesn't get to hot during the summer yet keeps him warm when the temps start drop.
Great basicSusanCan’t beat the price. Nice lightweight insert for guest bedroom. Wish it had loops to attach duvet cover. I ended up stitching ribbon loops at corners and then ties to duvet cover corners so it would stay in place.
Insert is good unless you are too hotDianaIt says light warm in the title and it means it. We are experiencing record heat right now so I cannot say anything except this insert is hot (even against an air conditioner), but I bet it works well once the weather gets cooler.
Just the right level of warmthMyrnaIt was difficult to know which of the duvet inserts offered by IKEA would suit our southern Oregon summer nights. Selected the Sandgrasmal (two twins) thinking if it wasn’t as hoped I wouldn’t be too out of pocket if I needed to get one of us something lighter or heavier. They fit perfectly in the IKEA duvet covers and don’t move around. Very nice product.

How to care for your polyester duvet
With a little care, you can prolong the life of your polyester duvet and keep it feeling and looking fresh. Use a mild detergent and set your washer on delicate cycle at 60°C – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners.
