Pleasant Surprise!SophiaAs sleeper's go it's surprisingly comfortable to sleep on. However, I always put a mattress topper down on couch sleeper's and USUALLY, that makes it bearable. That was not the case with this one. The spring cushioning throughout gives even support (for this side sleeper) + topper = elevates to near regular bed comfort.
Was super easy to assemble, possible to do alone, but having extra pair of hands helped with large pieces and putting cover on.
Going from couch to bed is super easy, minimal effort thanks to handle grips and the little wheels.
Purchased Tonerud red-brown, beautiful orange, think somewhere between terra cotta and coral. Super soft, tolerates 80# dog claws and easily wipes from spills (of course on day 2 it had to happen)
The size easily fit into livingroom/kitchen space about 10.4' x 11' with room for pre-existing furniture without feeling crowded.
I took 1 star for needing a topper, but would've taken 1/2 if I could.
Looks really goodOzgeWe purchased this for our nursery. It is a good size bed for guests. It is very firm, so we got a topper which makes the bed super comfy.
So far so goodSarahSeems to be well made and has held up but I admit it has not been used too often so far.
One issue to be aware of is the bed is not a standard US size so the Queen size fitted sheet and mattress pad I have for it do not fit easily. You really have to make sure the fitted sheet is on well or once you lay down, one of the corners will probably come loose. It looks like RV or Olympic size Queen sheets are the closest match but it would be nice if IKEA sold some that would actually fit.
