Hard to assemble - and value not thereMiriamWe had 4 different ikea-savvy adults try to put this together but the very first step was a bit of a mystery. You have to shove the metal plate through the metal tube and it takes some serious muscle and metal scratching to accomplish that. We were just about to return when we saw a review from Japan calling that exact issue out and saying something like "just push harder". It turns out we just had to not care if it got scratched and just jam the metal through. This seems like poor design to us. The value is also not quite there, too expensive for what you get. You don't even get the basic non-scratching pads for the legs!3
