The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table from 4 to 6 and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.
The extension leaf increases the overhang at each end of the table creating generous space for two more people at the short ends.
Designed for a perfect match with RÖNNINGE chairs. VOXLÖV, KARLPETTER and LISABO/Tallmyra chairs are also good matches with different style expressions.

DON'T BUYHemantWe really wanted to like this table. By month 8, the short edge of the table surface started to separate. For the 1st 6 months, there was nothing, which is unfortunate because the Ikea warranty/guarantee period is only for the 1st 6 months. There is a reason that they are discontinuing this product. 2 other reviews say similar things. What a waste of money.

Well made versatile dining tableDanielThe table is very well-made. Seems to be family friendly and feels sturdy for sure. Assembly was simple. One thing to keep in mind is, the table might give off a "slight" pink tone under certain artificial lighting conditions but 95% of the time it's exactly the color you see in the picture.

Great TableAmyI had an antique IKEA dining table that I had refinished last December. It was a lovely old table full of charm and character but it was a large square and extended it was a very large square. It didn’t fit in my new space so I’ve been looking for a rectangular table. This is the perfect size extender not. The assembly was very easy as well. I had to do it myself but it went together with no problem. I needed my husband to help flip it up to its legs. I already had the Ronninge bench that I used with my old table. I love the light finish and rounded legs rather than square legs. It looks very clean and modern. Nice job IKEA!!
took 3 shipments to receive a table that’s not damagedTamarafirst one had a scratch all over it, second one came with distinct repetitive marks on the tabletop. a lot of hassle to get it right. the table is heavy and it’s not solid wood just so you know, only the finish. I like the look of it and design though
Amazing for kids!!EmmaI wanted to write a review because I was just recommending this table to a friend and I was so confused why everyone is saying it’s poor quality! It is amazing! We have had it for almost 2 years now and we have 3 little kids. We don’t have any warped areas or cracks. It has held up so well! We put cold drinks on it all of the time and never had any issues. I actually think it almost looks brand new! And that is saying a lot with kids! Lol. We love it so much and it’s a cute table!
Warps easily and will break your heartSalvatoreAbsolutely loved this table at first. Loved that it was birch, classy, and extendible. Seemed to be worth the price until there was a pitcher of water sitting in the middle of the table and some drips of water from the condensation must’ve gotten in…. All along the middle of the table, where the two leaves are connected got warped. Massive bumps below the veneer and now it is starting to peel. Looks like this has happened to a few other people. If this happens, ikea does not sell replacements for just the table top :( you have to spend $500 for an entirely new table. Super bummed. My partner and I bought this table for our first place together thinking we’d have it for many years.
great computer / work deskVadimGreat computer desk, especially if you need two people to use it in adjacent sitting arrangement. Inredibly sturdy and roomy. Rissla desk pads fit perfectly...on width side as well! Middle opens up for easy cable management -- just attach a 24 or 36 inch cable net with zip ties to the bars that hold the extention piece and you are in business -- then use the extention piece to cover it up for a neat look. The table is about an inch higher than a typical computer desk, and there is no hight adjusment -- that may or may not be a deal breaker for you.
Smooth round corners and legs make a great choice if kids are about.
And c'mon, the Ronninge utility card? That is a desktop case cart admit it :)
Along the length side LÅNESPELARE cup holder clamp fits about 65 %, secure enough for me. There is a bit more room on the width side edge, so the cupholder clamp will hold even better there.
At the end of the day -- it can probably work well as a dinner party table also...
nice size tableNotsetWhile it took a little under an hour to assemble it is a strong table and better locking systems than others. Only draw back is pictograph directions need a little better understanding.
Cute but poor qualityHayleyLoved the look of this table but it’s very poor quality. The first time a cup sat on it and had a bit of condensation the veneer bubbled and cracked. Now less than 1.5yrs after purchasing there are several sections of cracked and bubbled veneer. The table is cute but impractical if you plan to use it to eat on.
New tableVirginiaLove how this table looks, just concerned about the way it’s constructed. The top is connected to the bottom with plastic connections. Just hope it stays sturdy.

My years long search has ended!!ShelleyI LOVE THE TABLE AND CHAIRS. I have been searching for years for a Scandinavian set that spoke to me. I sold our dining room set and had to replace in a matter of days before an event at our home. FOUND IT!! Thank you IKEA. The table and chairs and heavy and all is well made. I especially love the way the extra leaf is hidden in the table, no searching for me. Putting three chairs on each side really appeals to me. My Fiestaware collection looks amazing.

If the dowels had all been the proper length, the assembly would have been fairly easy as well. Everyone who has seen my new set has absolutely loved it.
