The outer frame is held by shallow v-fasteners and immediately fell apart as soon as I removed the backing.
This is the opposite of a well built frame.

Disappointed SoniaThe advertised sizes are wrong (Time and money wasted on printing and reprinting) and this frame was heavy enough to fall off the wall about 5 minutes after I hung it and completely fell apart. I tried to use wood glue and L brackets to fix but the particle board material just won't hold. Waste of a lot of time and a lot of money.
Great price point but..StanThese frames with a clean design and ease of assembly are a great economical way to frame works, especially larger art. The only downside is that the actual frames are not made of wood but a composite material and over time the frames sag and eventually the plexiglass pops out. I've used these for years but mostly in short term (less than 2 year) applications. Due to the nature of the design, they also do not do well when shipped, again mostly the larger (bigger than 16x20) sizes.

” We have also reinforced the back of RÖDALM to make it durable and prevent the frame from warping. That’s good if you change addresses often or enjoy refurnishing,” explains Andreas. He believes the pictures people hang on their walls can give clues about their lives and who they are, but how you choose to frame them can also be revealing. ” I enjoy creating collages using frames in various sizes and styles on a small wall surface, for example, old ornate flea market frames together with a modern frame like RÖDALM.” Then, the actual motif becomes less important, and a simple brushstroke on a beautiful piece of paper can be enough. “In the end, what’s important is not necessarily what you choose to hang on your walls, but that you put something up that feels like you.”

What is fibreboard?
Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
