Not worth the frustrationShirleneI am obviously the odd man out but this is impossible to put together. I spent so much time fighting with this shade, and no luck. Regret the purchase and live too far away to return. So infuriating.

interesting lamp for decor.AllenWhen i saw this lamp on the showroom, it stood out to me to be a very interesting lamp design, that being said, when I took it home, functionally, the lighting illuminates sideways and downwards, not upwards. I’ll keep this lamp with low lumens to be a glowing/conversation piece rather than used for a reading lamp. I’m happy to have it in my home.
Not the simplest to assembleJacobThe instructions aren't the clearest, but there's a tab you insert to hold the crimped shade in place. It's imperative you put the shade in first and then the tab! Otherwise, I enjoy the look of it. Just wish it came in more colors.

Tricky but amazingEmilyThis lamp was a bit difficult to put together, I had to put glue on the accordion part to get it to stay together while i got all the pieces together. Other than that, it's absolutely amazing! It has a lovely warm glow and it's the perfect size.

Looks nice, plastic diffusion curtain is a painEddieBought this in the as-is section at my local IKEA already pre-built and it looks as good as it does on the website. Love that you're able to use a normal light bulb (E26 base), too.
My only annoyance with it is the diffusion curtain on the lamp. Mine was already setup, but if I knock the lid off, it's difficult to get the curtain under the lid and make sure it stays put.
Otherwise, lamp is all metal except for the diffusion curtain, and gray-green color is neutral, so not hard to fit into your current decor. Looks great on a nightstand with its minimalist look.

Trying to get the accordion shade to fit and not pop out is crazy. Tiny little inserts are almost impossible to use as you wrap the shade into the “bee” groves. I’m to try for another 1/2 hour…

I chose pleated lampshades and combined them with softly shaped and colored metal to create a nostalgic, decorative and simple expression that suits both traditional and modern homes. The pendant lamp also shines downwards, which is perfect over a table. I'm proud of how we solved the design to make the lamps fit in small packages while still making them easy to assemble."
