ATTN: Size Changed - much smaller!SakiWe've been using this cart for years and just bought the 2025 version, which is much smaller. The size of the shelves holds so much less and has fewer options.
I'd say this new version is an absolute fail unless you live in NY or Japan and have very limited space. In that case, it might be great for your mochi and Saké, but honestly, it's tiny! 1
Quality product!SusanPerfect to keep my sewing supplies next to my sewing machine!5

Bolts are too short JustineWhat everyone else said. The bolts are simply too short. It would be so easy to put it together with slightly longer bolts. I have put plenty of IKEA furniture together and never had a problem like this where it seems to just be the wrong part. It’s clearly a manufacturing flaw. Too bad because it would otherwise be perfect for my needs. Not sure if I will finish putting it together or just return it. 1
Very sturdyJuanI love these in both sizes, i have both, very sturdy and useful5
Disappointed - not comparable to the prior Rashult CartSherryI’m a huge fan of IKEA and this is the first time I’m very disappointed. The new Raskog cart that replaces the former Rashult cart, pales in comparison. I will not be buying this cart anymore, and I’ll have to find a different alternative, which is unfortunate because of how much I love IKEA products. The installation is very difficult, due to the bolts not long enough to easily attach the frame to the trays. You have to squeeze the product together so hard that honestly you need two people to do this: one to squeeze the trays and the other to thread the screw and attach the bolt. Every new about the cart is clearly cost savings, from the smaller in height trays, to the way the floor of the tray is constructed - that clearly reduces the amount of weight you can put in each tray without the floor of it beginning to sag. With my new Raskog and my old Rashult side by side, you can tell the quality has decreased. Totally disappointed, I would pay more money to have the old cart back.2

Instructions need improvementKristelI put this together by myself while watching TV with minor frustration. Here's a few tips. The pieces will line up with some attention. There is one bolt on the side of each tray. Put one bolt in, barley tighten it. Put another bolt in, you will have wiggle room because you didn't tighten the first bolt. Do not crank down on the bolts, it's not necessary. Tighten the first tray for stability but leave the second tray bolts loose or the last tray will be difficult. Put the third tray in, one bolt at a time, do not tighten until both bolts are in. Now tighten the 2cnd and 3rd tray bolts. The instructions do not show the use of the other side of the wrench for the wheels but it's needed. The first time you use the wheel locks, use your foot while wearing shoes. It's stiff the first time, but after that it's easy. Ikea, break tradition with your instructions and give people tips. Instructions for the wheel installation lacked the use of the tool. 5
Painful assembly processJenniferI was excited to see there was a smaller RASKOG, since it could fit perfectly near (or under) my desk. However, like some of the other reviews, the assembly process is absolutely painful. To mount the baskets to the frame, it felt almost impossible without two people. We needed to use a lot of force to push the frame and basket together to *barely* have enough space to start threading the nut onto the bolt. But, once the bolts and nuts are all secured, there's no rattling and it all appears sturdy.
I recommend that IKEA includes longer bolts with this, or address the machining tolerances so the parts fit better together for this step. For a user - if you're frustrated, it might be worth buying a set of spare bolts from your local hardware store that are slightly longer, to avoid this difficulty.
Assembly aside, the cart is cute, easy to move around, and is helpful for organization!4
Questionable Manufacturing TolerancesDonaldI needed another Rashult mobile cart, but it was unavailable for delivery...only available for pickup from the store, and I live 130 miles from the closest IKEA. Thus, I ordered this new product, as it's a similar size to the Rashult. It's poorly manufactured compared to the Rashult (Manufactured in China), whereas this new product is manufactured in India. The two bottom pieces (where the casters screw onto) were of slightly different lengths which made it impossible to connect the shelves to the vertical upright pieces. Thus, one vertical upright was not aligned with the other which made it impossible to connect the shelves to the vertical upright pieces. Therefore, I quit attempting to assemble it, and it's now sitting in the manufacturer's box. This new product is NOT the same build-quality as the original Raskog units. I must admit, this is the first IKEA product that has not met my expectations. 1
AssemblyChrisTried attaching the basket to the frame with SMALLEST BOLTS.....you have squeeze frame and basket together to start threading HORRIBLE DESIGN1
