Loose ShelvesLynnI have several older Raskog carts and they’re great. I’m disappointed in this re-engineered model. The bolts are too long to tighten snugly. Also, the bolts are square where the head meets the thread, but the holes in the side rails are round so there’s nothing to hold the blot secure during tightening. It just spins in the hole. Very disappointing.
So now my dilemma is do I return this assembled Raskog to IKEA or go to the hardware store and buy my own bolts to finish assembling this? Either way, I’m not happy. 1

Great cartKameI picked up this RASKOG cart to use in my tiny entryway. I put shoes in the bottom, spare bags on the middle shelf, and the top to set items on while I remove my shoes. I can easily roll it out of the way when needed. It was easy to assemble and I love the blue color.5

The first time I bought the Råskog cart (in the smaller, "custard" version) was for my mother as a catchall for her medical supplies. Because of the cart's incredible usefulness, its wonderful quality (it's the sturdiest cart I've ever come across), and its pleasingly curved silhouette and lovely color options, I bought the larger petrol-blue cart as a nightstand for my daybed and the smaller, sage green one for my sister so that can corral her hair and makeup supplies. What's even more wonderful was that I was able to purchase these carts at a fraction of their original price thanks to IKEA's reward program!5

Why change a mainstay?JessicaI love my RASKOG carts, I understand why they are so popular. I was so upset to find that the most recent cart I bought was *very* noticeably shorter. The metal feels less substantial as well. It’s so frustrating that I will not be able to match my beautiful white carts. IKEA should at least note that there’s been a change, or name it something else, like when the EXPEDIT evolved to KALLAX.2
