Awful assemblyAdrianAs others mentioned there are no screws included, you're on your own to figure out what type/size you need. Aside from this big point, there is only one hole on the bracket that can screw into the shelf. That isn't enough support for the shelf to attach onto the bracket. There needs to be at least a 2nd hole that the bracket can screw to the shelf. Are you supposed to make your own hole to fix the bracket to the shelf? It's anyone's guess. Instructions should not be interpretational, they need to be clear and direct. No guessing. Headache installation.

It doesn't come with screws...QiaojunI've purchased several small items from IKEA before and had good experiences with them, though I've heard people can get frustrated with DIY IKEA products all the time. I thought the shelf could be one of the kind too, but no- because, surprisingly, it doesn't come with the screws! Plus, the instruction doesn't tell you what type of screw you should use (it only shows pictures that you shouldn't use the tiny one and should use the bigger/larger one, so it's not very helpful). I don't mind the shelf allows you to buy some screws there so I don't have to figure it out myself. It is supposed to be a simple task to put a shelf on! Now I have to let my husband dig out all the screws we have as it became a test-the-errors task...

Looks great but terrible to installKerryThese brackets look great with the shelf, with the color match making it look like one item. However, the brackets come with zero screws, meaning you have to go to a hardware store and find 4 different kinds to suit the different needs. I understand not providing the screws to attach the brackets to the wall, but like other reviewers have said, these need to come with the screws needed to attach the shelf to the brackets. I ended up buying a few varieties because I had no idea exactly what would work. It took me entirely too long to hang the shelf, but in the end, it looks fantastic and I don't think the brackets are going to budge.

Outstanding ProductDanI was struggling to find a large volume of pretty, well made and strong shelf brackets. I used these to mount four large shelfs in a renovated kitchen and they are beautiful and strong. They were also easy to install. My first IKEA purchase. I am a customer now!
Useless & DifficultSamuelThese brackets DO NOT INCLUDE any of the hardware (screws) required for installation. It's laughable that the pre-schoolish imagery used for the instructions indicates the need for your own tools, but nothing about the need to for providing your own screws. You'd need up to four different screws to complete the install -- depending on the shelf with which you're pairing it -- two lengths of flat-headed wood screws and two lengths of dome-headed screws. Also, these do require some fairly precise measuring, so if that's not your 'thing,' you'll want to look in the direction of other bracket options.
