Great wardrobePatriciaThe wardrobe itself is great! It's nice and sturdy and looks like good quality furniture. The instructions need work! None of the pieces were labelled. Simple letter stickers correlating with instructions would have made the assembly much easier and faster.

Great Armoire, but Instructions Need Improvement Anonymous reviewerI picked up the Armoire at the Ikea store after ordering it online. It came in three long boxes. The packing material was easy to dispose. The the only negative issue I have is with the assembly instructions. It was the typical illustrations with no actual verbiage. It was very difficult to determine which piece was which. Because of this, I had to go back a couple of times and reposition pieces; basically, redoing what I had done. I have assembled many, many such furniture items and this one took four (4) hours, which includes unpacking, assembling and clean up. I also mounted it to the wall per the instructions. The backing of the armoire required about three dozen tiny nails. There has to be a better way to attach a backing than the tedious task of using tiny nails with a small plastic nail holder. Once the armoire was assembled, it looks very nice and the doors (3) all work fine. The main interior of the armoire has holes for shelf holders, but there were none included.
Closet for My CabinAlanWell constructed. Fairly easy to assemble. Perfect for my cabin which we had removed the closet to expand the bathroom. The wall anchors are a must.
Works pretty well for the price but don't expect the sturdiness of a more expensive or built-in wardrobe.HansTook me one evening to put it together with hand tools. Decent quality. Little bit of work to get doors to align properly to open and close but with some adjustments got it working alright. Backing is relatively cheap and thin but cosmetically looks okay.
Very good buyDebbieI put this together myself for the inside of our front door entryway. We needed some storage there. Absolutely love the wardrobe and the storage that is part of it, but just wish that the doors were a little more thick and heavy because they seem kind of lightweight when closing them.

It is too big and heavy to transport, carry or assemble on your own unless you are strong and young. Comes in three boxes. Instructions are pictures only. I hired a friend to assemble. Needs some open space to spread out and arrange the hardware. This person is very capable with tools, etc and succeeded but wasn’t sure he would use Ikea himself because of the instructions. So maybe it’s best to have Ikea deliver and assemble if you are alone or older! But I love it. Very attractive.

Poor manufacturing ArchanNot sure I’d pay this price again. The materials are extremely cheap. Used the nail lineup tool to do the back yet one nail poked through the back. If you require a cheap small apartment solution, this is fine but if I were to shop around for a wardrobe, I’ll pay more for something of higher quality.

Perfect Storage Solution SusanThe Rakkestad is a great size for a smaller bedroom. Fits well and provides different sections for a variety of items. Easy to assemble - but you need a lot of room to lay out the product.
Rakkestad with some difficulties!NetteThis nice looking 3 door closet is not so easy to put together. I've been assembling IKEA furniture since the late 70's. I found the 21 pages of instructions extensive, some parts confusing and others missing.
The hinges on this closet are the worst I have had, they do not exactly fit or work with the provided screws and additional metal washer/grommets where also needed to make these hinges work. Overall a lot of pre drilled holes where just about 0.05mm off and to narrow! This minimal difference made it incredibly hard to assemble. The door stoppers took 3 days and every trick I know to get into the pre-drilled holes.
