Absolutely love this chair! Looks & feels like 5x the priceJonathanFamily and friends who’ve seen or sat in this chair (me included) since we bought it can’t stop raving about how terrific it is.
The leather chair cushion (sold separately) is surprisingly comfortable, and the ingenious bent-wood legs and frame allow for a very gentle rocking motion if you give a shift of your weight when seated.
My neighbor loves this chair so much he ordered one on the spot in my living room when I told him the chair style name. Wonderful!
My favorite place to sitPattiIt has been my most comfortable piece of furniture for almost 20 years! I had back problems followed by surgery. This chair was the ONLY place that I could sit comfortably both before and after surgery.
BouncyAnonymous reviewerI am 72 and put this chair together myself very easily. I love how it supports my back and neck, I have issues with both. I only Wish it could be made a little higher so a little easier to get out of but have figured out how. Design one like it for seniors love the little bounce it gives.

Comfortable, QC issueMarkWe like the chair, we bought two and have them both in use - comfortable.
Probably an outlier, but for one chair, one of the three cross-pieces in the seat had the alignment dowels and the screw hole shifted out of the correct location by about 1/4", so the screw would be impossible to thread into the barrel nut. My local IKEA is quite far away - it was quicker to buy a suitable drill bit and fix it myself.
I'd also recommend that IKEA add some adhesive felt pads to attach underneath the base to prevent wear between the wood and whatever hard floor the chair might be used on.
