Nice design, but soft topNathanielThe design is nice, assembly was easy. However, the table top wood is extremely soft. I’m using is as an office desk and made the mistake of sliding a monitor stand across it and now there are several deep scratches in it. Expected better for $300. 3

So incredibly easy to put together! Amazing! It is a lovely dining room table with a silky wooden top. Not very wide, but it suits the room we have it in. Great value. Highly recommend.

Designer thoughts

When designing PINNTORP series, I looked to Swedish 19th century furniture tradition, a time when resources were scarce and clever use of materials was needed. For the chair, I tested different angles of the backrest for optimal comfort. I was going to add spindles but found that the chair was just as comfy without. Smart use of materials created a distinct look and the series’ red and wood tones also pay tribute to this period – ready to spread warmth and beauty in your home.
