Decent, but weak wood and starting to peel coatingClareThis is a good intermediate table, to get you by until you get a better quality one. Honestly, should have just bought from FB marketplace in the first place. The coating is starting to pick up stain and easily peels of when cleaning at the edge of the table, and the wood is easy damaged with dents. It's a soft wood, so not very strong for the long haul. Would not buy again. 4

Designer thoughts

When designing PINNTORP series, I looked to Swedish 19th century furniture tradition, a time when resources were scarce and clever use of materials was needed. For the chair, I tested different angles of the backrest for optimal comfort. I was going to add spindles but found that the chair was just as comfy without. Smart use of materials created a distinct look and the series’ red and wood tones also pay tribute to this period – ready to spread warmth and beauty in your home.
