Great Set for small KitchenJoanThis set is perfect for my daughter who is a new mom, small kitchen. It was a birthday present for her and she couldnt have been happier to receive. We love the simple but sturdy construction and it is a cute as a button in her vintage-inspired kitchen. Assembly was doable and instructions were adequate! I would recommend this product and plan to purchase IKEA furniture for my other daughter as she is just about to purchase her first house within the next six months. Thanks alot IKEA! 5

Designer thoughts

When designing PINNTORP series, I looked to Swedish 19th century furniture tradition, a time when resources were scarce and clever use of materials was needed. For the chair, I tested different angles of the backrest for optimal comfort. I was going to add spindles but found that the chair was just as comfy without. Smart use of materials created a distinct look and the series’ red and wood tones also pay tribute to this period – ready to spread warmth and beauty in your home.
