The generous and inviting shape has extra comfort thanks to the thick seat cushion with a foam filling.

Care

This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5-6 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 242 lbs.

It's a mystery to me why the designer did not include a cushion for the back. I did search the IKEA selection of cushions, but none goes well with this chair, so had to return it. I think that the designer should be punished by being forced to sit in this chair for an hour a day. That should teach him the lesson that people eventually need to use the products, no matter how stylish they look! 1

The seat is quite low and could be a problem for taller people, but they work for us. We also bought some large feather pillows for the backs. Unfortunately the seat cushion only comes in GRAY?? which doesn't go with anything in our room. We would've preferred a neutral beige or black so I deducted 1 star.4
