Product details

Place this sturdy wooden stool with storage by the dining table, in the bedroom as a bedside table or where you need an extra seat. The storage space lets you utilise your space in the best way.

The cut-out handle on the top makes it easy to move the stool to where you need it.

To organize the storage space underneath, complete with LURPASSA box with lid, set of 2, KUGGIS box with lid 7 1/8x10 1/4x3 1/8", TJENA storage box with lid 7 1/8x9 7/8x5 7/8" or BAXNA organiser 7 7/8x10 1/4x3 7/8".

Made of sustainably sourced pine, a wood species with lots of natural character. With varying grain patterns and colour shifts, it gives each bench a unique look.

The untreated wood is beautiful as it is, but can also be personalized with a coat or two of paint in your favourite color.

Stains can be removed by using an eraser, fine sandpaper, soap, dishwashing detergent or paint thinner.

Can be treated with oil, wax, lacquer or glazing paint for higher resistance and easy care.

For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

Poorly constructed and overpricedJulieFool me once and all that, yes I paid $60 for a few pieces of pine, but I thought with Ikea I'd at least get the convenience of something that would arrive quickly and be easy to assemble. Fool me twice. This is a continuing issue I've had with Ikea products. The holes are so often misaligned or the pre-drilled holes are so shallow that I'm using all my strength to put it together. I'm working hard for a STOOL. Is it so much to ask that the holes align? If they're going to be out of place maybe we just forgo the studs? There's got to be a better solution than forcing me to get out my power drill in the face of those cheery little fella drawings telling me all I need is the allen key. PLEASE stop doing this, please quality check these products for ease of assembly or start shipping me a power drill as part of the hardware.3
I love you, Perjohan <3 or, Perjohan: an exquisite multi-purpose piece of furniture.AlexanderAs a stool, sublime. As a bedside table, exceptional. This item was easy to assemble, the instructions were straightforward, and it didn't take more than an hour to put together. The end result is sturdy and high quality, and as an added bonus, made my room smell like wood for a few days after I built it. The wood is smooth, and not prone to giving anyone splinters. The underneath storage compartment is extremely handy, and I find myself using it constantly, for various things. Additionally, the carrying handle in the seat of the stool makes it easy to move around and reposition, and it's not very heavy, either. I love the Perjohan.5
Misaligned Holes, but Still Like It!AnnaThis stool is just what I needed and I like it—I just bought and put two of them together today. In both stools, some of the holes were misaligned, which made them a challenge to assemble. I took out the wooden pegs so I could line up the screw holes and that worked fine. It was hella hard to screw all the screws in, but with some major elbow grease and a real wrench with a hex head, I was able to get it done. Overall, I am pleased. I look forward to painting them!4
Impossible to screw in bolts100rodstewart!I purchased the same bench two years ago and it was a cinch to assemble. I decided to buy another one this month. Unfortunately, it was not crafted as well as the previous one, and the holes did not match up with the screws at all. This made the assembly an aggravating process and I finally gave up. It’s a shame because this bench is very sturdy and well-made. I don’t recommend it because of the poor assembly.3

We used the space underneath for storage and adapted the design so they could multi-task as side tables. The cut-out handle and light-weight wood make them easy to move around.
