Product details

Place this sturdy wooden bench with storage by the dining table, at the foot of your bed, in your entrance or where you need seating. The storage space lets you utilize your space in the best way.

The cut-out handle on the top makes it easy to move the bench to where you need it.

The bench can be tucked away under the table, making it a great space-saver.

To organize the storage space underneath, complete with LURPASSA box with lid, set of 2, KUGGIS box with lid 7 1/8x10 1/4x3 1/8", TJENA storage box with lid 7 1/8x9 7/8x5 7/8" or BAXNA organiser 7 7/8x10 1/4x3 7/8".

Made of sustainably sourced pine, a wood species with lots of natural character. With varying grain patterns and colour shifts, it gives each bench a unique look.

The untreated wood is beautiful as it is, but can also be personalized with a coat or two of paint in your favourite color.

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Stains can be removed by using an eraser, fine sandpaper, soap, dishwashing detergent or paint thinner.

Can be treated with oil, wax, lacquer or glazing paint for higher resistance and easy care.

For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

sturdy, good quality, multipurposeKodifairly simple to assemble. good quality, it's lightweight and sturdy. we've had it for about a year and it has held up well to frequent use as a bench, step stool, storage vessel, and an unintended cat scratch post. the cutout in the top makes it very easy to move. ours has been dubbed "the shoe bench." it lives by the front door so we can sit down to put on/take off shoes that are stored in the cubby underneath. it fits around 5 pairs of shoes, perhaps more if they're smaller or stacked efficiently.5

GREAT PIECE OF FURNITURE!JazmineThis is by far my favorite piece of furniture I've ever bought from ikea. It was tricky for my friend and I to put together at first, but once we figured it out we got it done fairly quickly. This has so many possibilities! I used it as an entry bench to set my bags when I come in. I was so worried at first that it would be bulky for my studio apartment but its perfect! When I have friends over, I used it for extra seating. I can't wait to paint it! I'm also thinking of buying maybe two more purely because of it's functionality and size. Its' sturdy, the hole on the top works as a handle for easy carry so you can move it around. I really love this bench! 5

Nice bench seat - but very misleading stock imagePatricioWe needed a small bench for the entry, and this fits the bill. Nice clean pine. Sourced from Poland - very pleased with that. Super easy assembly. I stained and varnished the boards before assembly to ensure a nice finish. Came out looking real nice. Now for the bad and the reduced score - check out the photo with the "boots" in the lower storage area. Looks like it can handle some decent sized footwear, no? I suspect whoever took that photo lopped the toes off the boots to get them to fit (unless those are gaiters?). The interior width/depth of that space is 8 3/4" at the bottom, the sides taper in so it's even smaller than that. My size 10 1/2 canvas tennis shoes are 11 7/8". THERE IS NO WAY THOSE ARE REAL BOOTS IN THE IMAGE. Maybe some kid boots might fit. Too bad I can't post a photo.3
Multi-use BenchCassandraI recently moved into a studio, so space is limited. I bought this bench to use mainly as a coffee table, but I love that I can use it for seating, as well. I stained it with an aged wood accelerator to match my other furniture. It was easy to put together and is perfect for the price. 5

We used the space underneath for storage and adapted the design so they could multi-task as side tables. The cut-out handle and light-weight wood make them easy to move around. We hope people will find that these are the must-haves they’ve been lacking in their homes."
