Easy and quick to assemble since the design reduces the number of assembly steps and fittings.

With the foldable construction, you mount the frame in its intended space from the start, so you avoid heavy lifting when moving the piece of furniture once it´s assembled.

The frame is mounted upright and from the front, so you manage with less floor space and a lower ceiling height when you put together your furniture.

The frame must be mounted to the wall with the included rail.

Perfect where space is limited since the frame is narrow.

If you want to organize inside you can complement with interior organizers from the KOMPLEMENT series.

Adjustable feet make it possible to compensate for any irregularities in the floor.

Different wall materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for the walls in your home.

The frame can be assembled in an upright position if your ceiling height is a minimum of 79½". Follow the assembly instructions in the package.

If you want to complete your PAX frame with a sliding door, the minimum ceiling height required is 80¾".

When assembling a corner storage solution, start with the corner add-on unit. This is necessary in order to be able to attach all required parts to PAX foldable wall-mounted storage frame in the next step.

For PAX foldable wall-mounted storage frame, leave a distance of 2.5"/ 6.3 cm from the wall/corner when attaching the wall rail. For a solution with an add-on corner unit, leave 7.6"/19.3 cm.

May be completed with SKUBB storage case 25.59x20.87x7.48 inches which is dimensioned for this wardrobe frame.

Quality of Ikea really are going down. RobertI have many pax installed at home and the new pax changed the way to mount that perhaps is faster, but with lower quality of materials in the walls, pins, not even close in stability, is sad when price has been up ( initially payd 90 for the frames, a few year ago, then last year 120, then 130 and bow 140…. And with cheaper quality materials. Will rethink using Ikea or recommend in the future, is a pity. 2

Affordable but not cheapBertThe new PAX frames are a marked contrast movement over the old design. Assembly is marginally more complicated, especially if you are doing it alone (which IKEA does not recommend). Assembly time can be as little as 20 minutes once you get the hang of it which is dramatically less than the old PAX configuration. Price is affordable an the closet design software for PAX is user fruendly Improvements: - less manual install (screws and nails) and more slide and snap. Removing the need to nail the back panel saves time and frustration alone. - The unit is also much more stable - kick plate at bottom is much stronger and snaps in place easier. The old pax kick plate was prone to snapping if you accidentally kicked it or ran into it with a vacuum Negatives - none really except it’s impossible to find the hole fillers for the grey like you can for the white. I prefer the clean look of no holes after install 5
new version is clearly weakerEmilI've build a few pax closest years ago and so when a need for another one came I've proposed pax again as front runner only to be disappointed how IKEA reddisgned the frame... mainly now the attachment to the wall became a key part of upper structure so once you've build the closet you won.t be able to even move it an inch. I'm all for securing furniture to prevent tipping but I also value the option to be able to easily move the closet around when needed without having to take it half appart. please keep in mind that a number of high star reviews talk about the older version as this one came to market only last year 2

Apt people - Unable for one person to bring home DominiqueWhile they advertise that one person can put it together (yea right) it’s IMPOSSIBLE for one person to bring it home because it’s one giant 80 pound piece. The old pax I could take apart the package and bring the separate boards into my apt. Now you’re forced to pay for apt delivery (or onboard a friend) to bring it into your apt. The old pax I easily did from start to finish solo - a 5’5 female. Now, I need help. Would NOT recommend. Plus it’s Thinner than before - like a lot. This item sucks. Like all ikea has gotten worse. Hire a carpenter and build custom. It would be similar in terms of cost.1

The worst designDurgaThe Ikea PAX frames with 13" depth are the worst design by Ikea as none of the accessories that come with this are practical. The pull out pants hanger is disastrous and the drawer doesn't come all the way out. Don't waste your money.1

We bought every single self and drawer interior lights, only missing the doors sofar. We look back the purchase history we spent big amount of money on it, no idea how much will be from other place is but door is little over price our closet need 10 door so 1650$ for it is big question mark. experience is good i would buy again is very nice with lights i love to be in our wardrobe room 4

I completed the 'building' phase and went through with the order. I am so very pleased with my wall unit. My family and friends are as excited as I am. Several want to now do the same and build their own customized wall units. This has absolutely made my bedroom into a dream come true. I have plenty of closet space, drawers, shelves. Everything is solid construction. The measurements were spot on. This is so well worth the money invested!! It transformed the bedroom and lack of closet/drawer space into a bedroom straight out of a home beautiful magazine and cost soo much less than if we would have had someone come in and build it. We couldn't have done this any cheaper ourselves and it would have NOT been this nice. The whole experience was absolutely perfect!!!5
