Looks great, but difficult to put togetherMaryI bought the gray version of this storage bench, which has been discontinued. I liked how it is made of solid wood and that it has a tall height relative to other benches or chairs, making it easier for people with mobility issues to sit on. It also comes with the seat cushion.
Found it really difficult to put together. It's not evident from looking at the unit, but there are a lot of parts to install. Very tight measurements on the screwholes. Found it impossible to install the ends according to the IKEA directions. Had to get another person to help me hold the unit together so I could hammer the parts to make them fit. I suggest turning the unit so there is more leverage to hammer in the wood dowels or screws from the top instead of trying to hammer or screw in the parts while the unit is on its side like the manual shows. It also helps to complete one whole end first before turning it to complete the other end. Wouldn't buy it again just due to the difficulty of installation.

Hard to put together & crackedRebeccaVery difficult to put together, the screw holes seemed to be uneven. I have put together many ikea pieces and usually do not have trouble, but this one didn't line up right. Bottom wood piece cracked a little bit at the end.
