Do not buy!SarayThis couch is not holding up well. Within a week the cushions were sagging and it looks terrible. The couch barely provides any support for the cushions to lay flat. The couch itself is just a metal frame and some sort of hammock situation that doesn’t provide support at all for the cushions. You can’t lay on it flat either because the sofa dips towards the back. The sofa cover keeps coming off and you have to keep readjusting the velcro on the sofa cover so that it stays attached to the sofa frame which is very annoying. Do not buy this couch.
Love this sofaLisaI have had this sofa for over a year and I love it. Sad to see it as “last chance”. Why I love this sofa - 1. bought three different covers, change it up whenever I want to freshen up the space. 2. Covers are washable! My cat threw up on one cushion, washed cover, hung to dry, perfect. If you have kids/pets this is HUGE. 3. I am short. Do you know how difficult it is to find low sofas? This one is perfect. 4. It’s firm. My back was giving me issues and my chiro was like: sit in same place on sofa or in a chair that’s soft? You are leaning and you do that every day. Problem solved! No more back issue. 5. When people visit there is plenty of sitting room. 6. Cushions aren’t attached, incl the back ones. With any cushion they lose their shape, move these around & problem solved. Do let them sit when you 1st buy as directed. This is a MUST. Also BONUS: I think instructions say to have more than one person put it together. I did it myself. I change all the covers myself. Easy wash/care
Awesome sectional at a great priceZackEasy to build, great quality, awesome price. Way better than any cheap couch we've bought at other retailers. It is on the firmer side which I actually prefer not to sink down into my couch.
A regretted purchase YesimWe bought the Parup sofa a few months ago. From day one, it felt extremely uncomfortable—more like sitting on a hard floor than on a sofa. The seat is very firm and doesn’t soften with use.
We considered returning it but hesitated, hoping it might get better over time and because we needed a sofa for guests. However, even after regular use, it remains just as stiff. We can’t sit or lie on it for long without back pain.
After checking the reviews again, we saw that many others had similar experiences.
It’s disappointing that a sofa can be this uncomfortable. We hope IKEA takes this kind of feedback seriously.
Great sectional at an awesome priceTanyaThis sectional is very comfortable for the amazing price. It did take some time to put together. I think the most difficult part was the covering which needed to be stretched into place but once we finished it, everything is staying in place and it seems very sturdy.
Parup SectionalSelenaI love the sectional. I had Taskrabbit do assembly and it was awesome. The sectional is comfortable but firm which I prefer. It appears very sturdy and I love the look Of the finished sectional. I did have an issue with the cover the first time I sat on the sectional. The zipper holding the two pieces together on the frame split, so I’m giving the cover one star in the frame, cushions and pillows Four stars.
Amazing Couch! Get these bad reviews Outta Here!HunterTo start, this is an amazing couch for the price! I do not normally ever write reviews for anything, but I had to for this couch! It needs its justice! To start with the only thing bad, The Reviews. From it “being hard to build”, “not sturdy”, and “not comfortable”. We can go ahead and throw those out the window.
If you’ve built ikea furniture before, and have an okay amount of building furniture. It’s a walk in the park. The instructions though are clear though on the building it. It might take about 1-2 hours if you’re building it by yourself. Maybe a bit more, but theirs no rush!
The entire base of the couch is a durable metal frame, it ain’t budgin! Have everyone over, watch a movie, and everyone will fall asleep on it. The seat cushions are a bit firmer, but still comfortable and sink in a bit so it’s the best of both worlds. So, to the negative reviews “Get them outta here man!” This should be the only honest review you have to look at!

Super Sofa!GeneExcellent product, and everything fits together perfectly! Note that tolerances are exact, so please follow directions carefully. Two people are needed in some steps. The most challenging step was the semi-pre-assembled corner—once you properly tension, it’s faster. You also need some upper body strength to ratchet/lock into place the supporting surfaces, using the supplied torque tool. It fits together exactly. While assembly is taking place, it helps to lay out (and match) all the couch cushions with their covers; you don’t necessarily need to wait overnight, since cushions poof out nicely. It’s a comfortable, substantial, and eye-catching piece of furniture that’s perfect for use in our AirBnb (or home residence). It’s an excellent buy, and we didn’t encounter the issues that some have mentioned in their reviews. Take your time, take breaks, and in approximately 2-3 hours, you’ll see how nice the couch is, even if you haven’t assembled an IKEA product recently. Great product! A+
Terrible couch AlfredWas really hoping this couch would meet my expectations but that was definitely not the case. It was an awful couch in many ways - the cushions did not remain a pleasant shape for long and the cover was so tight that it ripped the Velcro strip on bottom-back of couch. Return wasn’t a problem and went smooth.
You get what you pay forHannahI had high hopes for this sofa. Unfortunately the other reviews are accurate. The cushions have started sagging less than a week after purchase and the fabric cover itself even came with loose strings and snags. Definitely not worth the $1400+ it is right now. I won't be returning due to convenience, but am definitely a little bummed about the purchase.
Nice, but not comfyJohnThis couch has a nice, clean, simple design. However, it is rather firm and not the most comfortable couch I have ever owned. Your body gets sore after sitting on it for a bit. I don’t think I could take a nap on it. All in all it is nice, the only issue is the comfort level.

Quality is just fair… cushions are very hard to sit on. Kind of uncomfortable and difficult to get comfy. Constantly fixing the cushion covers. I purchased 2 covers… hope the struggles to put on the covers gets easier

We love this couch!KasieI was nervous about buying this couch based on reviews. But it has been a fabulous couch! It’s plenty big for our family of 4 to sprawl out. The cushions are all keeping their shape, it’s very sturdy, easy to clean and looks amazing. It’s not a couch you sink into, but it’s comfortable enough for a short nap. It has good structure and support. We have the green and it’s the star in our warehouse loft.
We’ve put together many IKEA things, and this was no different. Take your time and follow the instructions. The cushions/couch cover was a little tricky to figure out, but once I followed the instructions and paid attention to which cover goes on which cushion and also where to put each cushion, it was easy to assemble. Buy this couch!
Good couch but the worst instructions everCassandraThe couch seems like it will be good quality. But the instructions were the worst and almost made us return it. 0* They just need to do an instructional video and it would be easy! Box 1 should be where you start and different areas/items shouldn’t have the same numbers.
HorribleJenniferWe have purchased lots of furniture from IKEA over the years and I have never been as disappointed as I am in this couch. The cover does not completely cover the couch frame and the cushions are flat and saggy after less than a month of use. I've tried to call IKEA and only get messages (even during operational hours); I've tried to chat online and get cut off in the middle of conversations. The quality of this couch is way worse than anything from a big-box store.
