Adding a door to BILLY bookcase gives it both a new expression and new functions such as hiding and protecting what you store.

A panel door hides your belongings and protects them from dust.

Adjustable hinges allow you to adjust the door horizontally and vertically.

1 door will fit BILLY bookcase 15¾" and 2 doors will fit BILLY bookcase 31½".

Can be used on the corner unit only if the shelf next to it has no doors.

The door does not fit bookcases purchased in the spring of 2014 or earlier.

They do not fit the tall BillyAnonymous reviewerPurchased 3 of the taller Billy bookcases. Then purchased 3 of the matching Oxberg doors. They do not fit. The 3 hinge brackets are not aligned such that you can adjust up and down. The main connecting screw between the hinge and door also do not align, meaning there is no way to connect the door to the bookcase without adding a washer to fill the space. Worst Ikea product in 25+ years of buying.1

We are impressed by the finish of the oxberg doors. The colour and faux wood grain gives the same look of a high end furniture. It would be nice if the white finish of the same line gave that same illusion. The brown finish is very classy.
