1 Year ReviewAnonymous reviewerI've had this fridge for a year and I've come to regret the purchase for 2 main reasons...
1) The water filter is a huge problem, Ikea doesn't carry it, no one does, the ONLY place I have found to get it is from the manufacture (which is not Electrolux as I was told by Ikea, but rather Midea). This is not only a problem of being expensive and inconvenient, BUT, it also means no filters once they manufacturer decides to stop supporting them since it's an uncommon size for which it seems no one is making generic replacements.
2) The main fridge space has very little area for tall items, in Europe that isn't a problem, I grew up in Greece, we rarely had tall things in the fridge; however, in the US, half gallons and liters of dairy items, which most households have multiple of, come in packaging to tall for all but one small area of this unit.
Rating explanation: -2 stars for the false claim of being made by a known major brand and the filter issue. -1 star for tall item space issue
