Great Wine Cooler, Great warrantyLaurenWe had 2 wine coolers die within a few days of each other. Neither was under warranty. We had been looking for a replacement, but most were really expensive (or too cheap, so we knew they'd die) and then you had to add a warranty on top. This wine fridge fit in the built-in spot perfectly, looks better than our old one, fits a lot of wine (not 52, but enough that we didn't need to replace our stand alone 32 bottle wine fridge that also died) and comes with a 5-year warranty. If you are on the fence about buying this wine fridge- I'd recommend that you do it!

DisappointingMarilynnA little over a year ago we bought this cooler and had IKEA-approved workers install it. This week the handle came loose and is about to fall off. No warranty (beyond a year) and no help figuring out how to repair it. Very frustrating. We're kinda' sorry we spent thousands on an IKEA kitchen. If you're short on money or you just want to flip a house, go ahead, but otherwise, go with a reputable company that will be there when something breaks. And it will break if you buy it at IKEA.

Less expensive than the competitionChristopherWirecutter (at the NYTimes) promised to review this fridge for a couple of years and never did. The price is about $300–600 less than comparable competing models. No complaints. Easy to assemble (you just add the door handle) and comes preset to an optimal temperature for most wines. My one concern is that the entire interior lining, including the shelf supports, is a single injection-molded polystyrene unit (I think I have that right); since that is a plastic that can become brittle with age, I wonder about its longevity. Otherwise, happy to have some cherished bottles bottle-aging in chill circumstances.
Hubby collects wineSueI like it. Holds all his wine. Lights up and looks great. Fits under the counter, doesn’t make a humming noise. He said he wished the shelves came in and out easier or had more ability to adjust them is all. I think he likes it.
