Great bed, horrible assemblyRachelI’ve been putting together IKEA furniture for 20+ years. My mom and I both bought this bed. I have now put it together twice. Both times took more than 5 hours. The second time I thought it would go more smoothly, and I assembled the drawers while my husband assembled the rest of the frame to save time. This bought us about 30-45 minutes on the first time. There is something about these parts that makes them much more confusing than any other IKEA product. I think it is because they’re all white or all black (I’ve put together both now) instead of other products where one side is colored and the other is blank particleboard. It’s so hard to tell which goes which way, on both assemblies we had to backtrack through and hour of work to find one part that was accidentally flipped and completely not obvious. While I like this bed, I cannot wait to take a chainsaw to it when we move.4
6 years going strong AkoniI bought this bed frame a little over 6 years ago in early 2019 and it is still going strong. This bed is very heavy so make sure you put it somewhere you plan to keep it long term. I’ve only taken it apart once since the initial assembly, but that was because I was moving. The corners of the bed are pretty sharp and stick out from the mattress a few inches (queen size), so you should be careful when walking around it. The amount of storage this bed has is great. With this frame still holding up like the day I built it I’m very satisfied with my purchase. 4
Not worth it ShivohanBeds completely falling apart after 4 years. The draws have falling apart completely. Matress dosent stay in place constantly have to shift it 1
Wanted to LOVE it SidneyDon’t love it, drawer won’t slide out without getting stuck. Thought it was supposed to smoothly shut, just gets stuck half way. Having to then use force to close it. For the price point not worth it. Wouldn’t pay over $300 if I would’ve know this issue before2
Best Bedroom SetVickiI have two Nordic beds with drawers Great space saver Love the adjustable headboard5
Beautiful designSamanthaLooks great in the space and very easy to assemble considering the many parts and details. Only complaint is that the base is a bit larger than a queen size mattress (about 2 inches extra on each side) and the edge is a but sharp for how much extends out. 4
Nordli Queen Bed with HeadboardLinI LOVE my bed. I needed the extra storage. The bed is sturdy, looks great. The headboard is unique and functional with the added small shelves that fit between the slats. No problems with delivery or with parts. As with all Ikea products you need to be handy and patient, or like non-handy not patient me, you have a mate who has those qualities. 5
Strong and SturdyDonaldMy only wish would be if there was an ability to purchase additional shelves for the bed.4
Nordli bedBegoniaIt’s very spacious and very nice. 5
Fantastic BedRyanThis is my first time reviewing an ikea product. I think so highly of this bed frame I felt the need to review it. It’s very high quality and designed very well. The main feature is the fantastic backboard. It has 6 sliding storage drawers that operate very smoothly. Overall this has been my favorite ikea product. 5
Sleek, well made & StylishAnonymous reviewerGreat bed! Great storage, looks beautiful and fits in well in my decor!! 5
Norli Bed one of the best!KarlaLove my new bed, in a few words I love all Ikea products.5
The product was not worth the value, assembly it was difficult and the storage boxes keeps pulling out. I regretted buying itOlabimpeI can't recommend it to any one1
First ikea purchase, extremely disappointed ChristopherFinally just finished putting the bed frame together and we go to hang the headboard onto the wall; now, I would never have bought this had I known beforehand that you would need to hang the headboard, that just seems silly and pointless. It did not come with any screws for you to do that, or explain in the directions what I might actually need to do that. Apparently I'm supposed to be a construction worker and just know what parts I'm supposed to use? Super disappointed that I paid $800 for something that is this hard to put together. Probably will not be back to ikea for any further needs..1
Falling apart 4 years later...JarretI bought this bed four years ago (2020). , about 6 months ago, one of the support rails broke (that the slats rest on). This is a king size bed and my partner and I are both under 200 lbs, so it wasn't even being overloaded. I confirmed that Ikea still makes the bed, and would happily send me a replacement as long as my purchase was less than 180 days ago. However, because I bought the bed four years ago, Ikea will not send me a part even if I paid for it (I didn't expect it to be free). So now I either throw the bed away or Ikea suggested I recreate the part on my own (sure, that's easy). As a solution, I added additional support directly under the slats, independent of the rest of the bed. Additionally, the "ribbons" connecting the slats have also started to separate from the slats (the bed is still ok with that) and the rails for one of the drawers is broken. This bed should have lasted a longer than four years, especially for over $800 now, fortunately I only paid $650.1
Question?JungHow many holes do you have to make on a wall for the headboard? Can you answer my question?5
Love the look and storageEmmanuelI really an loving the extra storage I have with this. I also like how sleek it looks in my bedroom.5
Long Lasting But how to get replacement partsMaywondering how to buy replacement parts 5
Queen NordliCarolExcellent queen bed with six large and deep drawers included!5
Very modern and functional!JerryWe recently remodeled our mid 1960’s master bedroom & looked for both a modern style bed with storage underneath. This bed met both! It took awhile to assemble (probably because I’m 77) but no major issues. Our only complaint is there should be an option to mount it on the bed frame instead of only on a wall! All in all, a very nice bed frame!5
