Each chair has a unique expression since the stable construction is made of solid acacia, a natural material with lively color shifts and grain patterns.

The woven seat is both decorative, strong and comfortable to sit on.

Curved back and generously sized woven seat offer restful support and comfort while eating, writing or doing paperwork.

The open backrest allows you to hang the chair on a hook on the wall to save space.

For a coordinated look combine with NACKANÄS table, available in different sizes depending on your space and needs.

    Light stains can be removed with a textile cleaner or a damp sponge and a mild soapy solution.

Quality

A unique expression that ages with grace

Strong, comfortable and beautiful is one way you could describe the NACKANÄS collection. It is made from acacia – a durable wood mostly used in outdoor furniture because of its durable properties and high density wood fibers, but here indoors. Instead of throwing parts of the tree trunk away as others do, we combined the lighter trunk with darker parts of the tree. The result is a blend that gives each piece of furniture a unique expression. The acacia ages gracefully and when needed, it is possible to sand it down to refresh the expression and make it look like new!

"Our inspiration for the NACKANÄS series comes from the Shaker style philosophy - simple, practical and unadorned, without compromising on beauty. We love the chair with its woven seat - a comfy and attractive feature often seen in Shaker designs. We also like the centred table legs which give more space for chairs along the sides. Add to this the beautiful acacia wood which gives each furniture piece a unique expression and will age gracefully in your home."
