To install it alone I needed to attach a magnetic level, put in one screw, and mark the rest of the screw holes from there; it would be easier with two people. But my way worked! Good product.5

GarbageI bought a set for my kids room. My dad used 3 inch screws and anchors to install it. It fell after 2 weeks. My mom attempted again and it fell, now I tried again today to install one and it feel after 1 hour of installation holding around 10 pieces of children's clothing. I love IKEA but this product needs to be discontinued. After 3 attempts, it went in the garbage.1
Worst clothing rack everArica C.No matter what type of screw or nail I used and no matter how many holes I made it would NOT stay on my wall, I tried different techniques to hang them up and nothing. The problem is not my wall, I’ve had many other things hung on it before, it’s the rack. Don’t get it, it doesn’t work. I want a refund!1

Good. Needs better hardware.ElizabethPerfect for small spaces if you use your own hardware to install. I repeat, do not use the hardware that comes with this. Right now, mine holds 18 hangers of athletic wear and ~10 empty hangers. Sturdy enough for clothes but not sturdy enough for a toddler to hang play monkey bars on. Regarding assembly, I found it pretty easy but I did have to ask someone to hold one side to ensure I could install the first side. Tbh, I wish these looked cuter and weren't rounded at the ends because my hangers roll on the side. Still, I totally recommend! These are a good alternative to clothes racks that take up floor space.4

clothes rackCeciliaThis might have been a great product if the hardware were supplied with it and the ability to make it wider was easier. I was only able to get one of two units to extend. I finally ended up throwing them out. Very disappointed and I am usually very satisfied with Ikea products.2
