Looks nice, pain to assembleKatherineI've assembled dozens of IKEA pieces, this one was particularly hard. The screws need to go through a punched metal hole so no thread to catch.
Interior dimensions where also just finicky enough to limit effectiveness of storage.
Take patience to assemble, and need it more for nice looking display than optimized storage.
Nice piece a little difficulty assembling.LesliVery nice piece once complete. As other reviews say, getting the top screw in the door to attach it is time consuming and very frustrating. We had to hammer it back out and then flip the bar over and try again after 30 minutes of trying. Also tricky to assemble the door magnet.
Excellent quality and very attractiveJohnI was so glad that IKEA came out with this smaller version of the MOSSJON cabinet. A couple of suggestions: hoist the cabinet against the wall in order to mark where to drill the wall screws BEFORE attaching the walls and door. It'll be a lot easier (lighter). Also, the instructions could be clearer when it comes to attaching the bar on top where the hinge screw is supposed to be inserted. The hole for the hinge screw is wider on one side than the other, and the wider side is supposed to be on top. Many of the reviewers have posted that the hinge screws are defective, but I think it's just that they had that bar on backwards which is an easy mistake to make. I've got four of these small cabinets and am getting another one just because I like how it looks.
Unusable JonathanCame scratched. And the top door screw will not screw into the cabinet. Like at all.
Different size, same problemJohnI have five of the larger versions of this wall cabinet. The first two were easy to put together. The next three had a major flaw which countless others have commented on in the reviews. My fault for assuming that IKEA fixed that flaw before coming out with this smaller MOSSJÖN cabinet. The screw/hinge that's supposed to be inserted on the top STILL DOES NOT WORK!!! Either it's threaded incorrectly or the hole is drilled incorrectly. Since I live 200 miles from the nearest IKEA, returning it is not an option. After using a series of hammers, screwdrivers, vicegrips, and pliers, I finally managed to get it good enough to hang the door. I bought two of these cabinets, and both had the exact same issue. Once completed, these cabinets look fantastic and really add some umph to my bathroom. But be prepared for a couple of hours of misery and frustration while putting this thing together.
