Like new after three yearsVirginiaThis is the most comfortable sofa we have had, great for napping and waking with no back pain because it has super support. Even with kids and pets and a 'weighty' guy, it's really like new. I don't understand the complaints about legs - we got the wooden version and no problems. We got the dark gray (gunnard?) color fabric and it hasn't stained or changed color in any way. We also loved that it did not need to be assembled. It came complete, all we did was screw in the legs and done!5
Pretty but the legs breakRachelBought this couch back in February, six months ago. Thought it was very cute and comfy for our space. Unfortunately, the back leg has completely snapped making this couch not usable for safety reasons. Really disappointed as we love Ikea. We never even moved the couch from its spot other than to clean behind it, so for it to just snap a leg was disappointing. Would not recommend 2
Problem with legs AmyIt looks like other reviews have the same issue- the legs are attached in such a flimsy way that if you try to move the couch or sit on it just the wrong way, the leg will buckle and snap off and there is NO way to repair it. I can't even see a way to rig it so it will stay on. We otherwise love the comfort and look of the couch but it's only 3 years old and only my grown daughter and I are the main users. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I see that the price has also gone up since I bought it and at these prices I would definitely say you could buy a better built couch. 1
Held together by staples, particle boardSayrah-MikaelI have had this sofa for about four years now. A roommate somehow destroyed one of the back leg sockets during a move (very easy to do and not covered by the warranty) and there's no way to fix or reinforce the back legs because of how the frame is built. The legs' only support is a flimsy thin piece of wood that is stapled into particle board. It will bend and warp over time as weight is applied to it and you can see the evidence of it in many images people have shared online. It's really beautiful and it's really comfortable but I have to keep yoga blocks under it so it doesn't collapse on itself. This sofa could have been very easily engineered in a way that this could not happen so it is very much by design. 2/52
Quality is ok okUmaAppearance wise, very good. But the quality is fragile.2

Green sofa AprilSo nice and comfortable 4
Fabric is uncleanableKellyI got this couch in green. If any liquid comes in contact with it, it leaves a brownish ring around the outside of the mark once it dries (even water) The cushion covers are also not removable and any cleaning fluid just makes the stain worse. I tried to contact IKEA about it and asked if I could buy some new cushions once they became so stained but they had no solutions for me. It’s a really cute couch and comfortable but it doesn’t last long. 2
COMFORTABLE...but not for long term use. :-/KristenWe have loved this couch. It's our first L-shaped and fits really well in our home. However...the arm rest has come extremely loose and we are unable to tighten it or reinforce it. We just have to avoid that seat because you can't lean your arm on it or it pushes away. :-/4
ComfortableZoeComfortable sofa. Deep seat and firm cushions. However, for the price, it's kind of ridiculous that the velcro strips on the cushions don't match those on the sofa. For a $700 sofa, you'd think there'd be some quality control. 4
Wanted to love this couch :(AprilWhen we first got this couch we absolutely loved its look fits perfectly with our decore. But after a few months the velvet started changing colors where the sun hits it. And the fabric inside piles up and is weak. We tried to return it for the warranty but couldn’t locate receipt or card we used so now we are just stuck with couch. 2
Don't buy if you have kidsKristinI like the style and firmness of the couch, but it is falling to pieces. We bought it in 2021 and the arms are wobbly and the legs collapse if you lean wrong. The legs are screwed into triangle brackets that are stapled into the frame. One bracket came unstapled while we were assembling the couch and we repaired it, but now all four legs need frequent attention. We are very protective of the couch but we do have young kids. They don't jump/rough-house on the couch, but they kinda launch themselves onto it headfirst sometimes you know. This couch would probably be fine if you are a proper adult who only sits still and doesn't plan on moving the couch ever.2
Get a Better CouchVictoriaMy roommate and I got this for our apartment around $400-ish in 2021. Unless they've updated the quality for this item, it's still a really firm couch after nearly three years of trying to break it in. The armrests got wobbly and creaky on us. It is NOT worth anything over $400 or whatever they are currently selling this for. You could be infinitely more comfortable with other couches. I'd recommend it for about a half hour of seating until your body gets a little sore.2
Comfortable but not long lastingChristianCouch is very comfortable however after a few months a staple came off of a spring and the spring has fallen out leaving a spot that sinks in when seated. The arm rest on the left side has become so loose that we try not to lean on it as to break it and the other side armrest has a support panel that has fallen into the couch. Really enjoy this couch just wish it was built a bit better, didn’t keep track of my receipt so haven’t even bothered with warranty 3
Overall an OK couch, but not built to lastKyleIt is sturdy enough, comfortable, looks nice. However right at the 1 year mark, the left side arm became extremely loose for no reason. I cannot figure out why it happened or how to fix. Due to the design, there's no real way to reinforce it with additional screws, and it's outside the return window so I'm SOL. Disappointed as it is otherwise a decent couch, just didn't seem like it was designed to last for the long haul.3
Great couch for usCatherineI was hesitant due to some of the reviews, but this couch is comfortable, and perfectly sized for us. It fits 2 adults and 2 dogs - perfect! The color and design is great too. For now, I think its great!5
Not favorite, but a sturdy work horse LarisaPurchased in 2021 and was a compromise between no couch (my preference) and a proper couch. The legs came with the little fabric socks for the design and are perfectly sturdy. This couch receives daily use from sitting to sleeping (when you just can’t get comfortable enough on the bed or there are guests). Back cushions are no longer stylish and have sagging lines, Front cushions are flattened so much, they hang good 3 inches over the front edge. It has to be protected from cats, but - it’s fabric. I imagine it can get another 5 years of use. Nothing half decent is cheap anymore and this thing gives the bang for the buck.4
comfortable and elegantStephy&MesutIt is very comfortable and elegant, it allows you to feel comfortable and decorate your house.5
Seems great at first, but not worth the money.SamanthaMy husband and I bought this couch in December of 2020 and loved it. Now, in January of 2024, the cushions are completely flat and the legs are wobbly. I would say we got maybe one good year out of this thing, and for $800 it was not worth it at all.2
Very DisappointedNoelAlthough the look of the couch is aesthetically pleasing, the wooden legs became loose and very wobbly within weeks. I called and asked IKEA to replace them, but was told they are not covered under warranty. This is my second time buying an IKEA sofa, and both times were a disappointment. This couch was an $800 mistake and I’m sure IKEA will not accept it back, because their process is stringent. Therefore, I plan to spend an extra $48 to replace the wooden legs, on my sofa and chair, with metal ones. I hope these will help the couch to become sturdier. However, I’ve learned my lesson to not buy an IKEA sofa again. I’ll stick to their shelves and other great products.2
