Djuparp cover is made of velvet which, through a traditional weaving technique gives the fabric a warm, deep color and a soft surface with a dense pile and light, reflective shine.

Good to know

To keep your sofa looking good, you should regularly flatten out creases and wrinkles with your hand.

The velvet reflects light in a characteristic way which may make the color appear as if it changes.

Press marks that may appear on the velvet usually disappear in time. With your hand, you can gently stroke in the direction of the pile or use a clothes brush. You can also use the vacuum cleaner with the soft nozzle.

Small fibers may appear on velvet. It happens naturally and they disappear over time and can also be removed with a lint roller.

Remove dust with a lint remover.

Light stains can be removed with a damp sponge or a mild soapy solution.

To make sure that velvet maintains its look and feel, it needs to be cared for regularly according to the care instructions included with the product.

Safety and compliance

The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 25,000 cycles. A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.

DON'T PURCHASENicoleThis style is terrible, we bought the couch & loveseat approximately 10 months ago. The legs cave in, the upholstery is stretched and worn, rips and looks terrible. Currently trying to receive a refund to original payment method. Ikea only wants to give a refund card. Why would I want to buy another sofa and couch with the issues described above. One added note no animals or people over the weight limit have used either piece of furniture. 1

Great comfortKaliThis product line is very comfortable. I would have the whole line but only have the space for the loveseat. The only assembly required is screwing the legs into place, so make sure you have a large vehicle to transport. The price did increase by $100 by the time it was finally back in stock and I made my purchase.5

Great firm product for the price!HarpreetWe bought morabo light green loveseat for our bedroom. And morabo brown leather sofa for our living room. The seating is fantastically firm cuz me and my husband both have back issues. We wanted our seating to be firm. We sit on the loveseat everyday, sometimes whole day. The seat is very deep. I am 5’2” and i curl myself all the way into the sofa, with throw on my legs it becomes very cozy seating. And my husband is 6 feet and he also loves the firmness. We sure have added lumber pillows for more back support. And some throw pillows for coziness. And we still get room in our loveseat. For our cozy throws. The only thing we want to suggest to ikea that there should be something done for headrest. Like ikea has additional headpiece for their other sofa Lidhult. Other than that its beautiful sturdy firm piece of furniture. We actually liked it in ikea covina but due to covid there was shortage of supply those days in September 2021. So we waited and waited and some more waited…. And finally bought it in December 2021. Got it delivered at out home, in room delivery option. It was also a great experience. The delivery people were very good.5

Nice loveseatDeniseThis wasn’t the furniture I was looking for when I arrived at IKEA. I changed my mind to this one when we sat in it. The loveseat is comfortable and fits your back end to the knee. I have slept for a few hours on it in comfort and watched many movies with the family in comfort as well. The scale of the furniture is nice in my room. Very stylish too. I paired this green couch/chaise with the loveseat and also the yellow wing back chair and ottoman. This was completed with the white and grey striped rug all from IKEA. It’s very stylish. Only 4 stars because I waited months to be able to buy the furniture. I wanted the Navy Velvet but it wasn’t available. And prices did increase by 30% as I waited.4

This is such a beautiful sofa. Charcoal colour is so versatile. Wonderful fit with my Provence meets Minimalist style. The delivery was amazing, packed perfectly and just a few steps to set up! I did this solo, so you can too!
