Bright, long lastingJohnI have had several of these for many years and recently bought another pair. They work great and are a good brightness for bathrooms and hallways.5
Not much of a sensorJohnI still recommend these nightlights but with the caveat that there's a good chance they will never turn off. Even the brightest LED ceiling light doesn't trigger the sensor to turn off the nightlights. Oh well. But even if they're on 24/7 they should last a couple of years before needing to be replaced, assuming they really do last 25,000 hours as claimed.3

SensorAndrewThe light sensor requires pretty bright conditions for the light to turn off. There was only one outlet in my apartment where conditions are bright enough for it to turn off during the day. Thankfully it worked out, though. It’s a cozy little night light with a warm hue.4

Powerful & long lasting!NancyAgree with everyone who says how bright these are and how the room needs to be pretty light to turn off - but that can be a real plus, especially if these are added for safety. If it comes on mid - day but not when really needed, like on a stormy afternoon, it’s not bothersome. Also true that there is no off switch - but they last forever. I got my first pair not long after we moved into this house - almost 9 yrs ago - and one has been plugged in the entire time, still going strong. The other is in a drawer in the guest room for use as visitors desire. At this price, for such a durable light, those who want something else can get that too!5

I really love these because they turn on and off when they're supposed to according to light conditions and it's a bright enough warm light in the dark so you can see, but not overly bright.
