Some huge flaws ruin an otherwise great chair.RoyI've owned 2 of these in the past. One, the corner of the arms WILL break. Might be 6 months, might be 2 years, but they will break. Without the arms, you have nothing. IKEA does NOT replace or sell the arms. No warranty either, better break within return policy window. Two, they changed the seat angle a few years ago. Now, it uncomfortably leans forward. Google "Millberget forward tilt" for some sloppy user fixes. The default angle is awful. IKEA must have known about the arm issue for years and years, and they still sell it with these thin, flimsy arms. It's crazy. Fix the arms and seat angle, and you guys have a great chair. Seriously, if I could just buy the arms, I like this chair enough that I'd buy a handful of sets at a reasonable price. Seat foam is acceptable, but it would be amazing if there were a bit more too. 2
Fabric melted from normal use after one yearJThe fabric started melting and sliding down the back, seat, and armrests. IKEA won't reimburse for it since it's been over a year. Another piece of garbage for the landfill :( 1
Bring back the black and white option!KateI love this chair. It's very comfortable, adjusts up and down, swivels, and does all with ease and efficiency. I had 2 in black and white, and they were beautiful in my home office. But when moving to another state, I was very limited on carrying space, so decided to leave them behind and buy new ones in the new place. Big mistake! I then found out the black and white option was discontinued. I now have the solid black, which is still a great chair, just not as stylish as the black and white. If that one were again available, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and gift this one to someone else.5
Office chairFishNice looking and very comfortable5
Beautiful !JavieraEasy to assemble , very comfy ! The only thing is that you can’t recline in this chair , but is ok for the price5
I love this chair! Still comfortable 5 years later!LolaI love this chair! Mine is the White and Black and I wish they had that same color combination but thank you for offering the light color (Murum Beige) as I work from a home office and my desk is white so I don't want a dark chair. This is the most comfortable chair, and I will definitely be purchasing this again. I've been using mine daily for 5 years. Thank you, IKEA, for offering quality products!5
No back support *at all*SpencerDo not buy this chair. I've been having back pain for months now, and I just realized this is the culprit. I know it looks pretty good, back there is simply no back support in this chair. Look elsewhere if you plan to sit in a chair more than an hour per day.1
Very bad chairMagedVery bad chair, when you sit on it you will find that it is tilted to the front. I returned both chairs.1
Easy to put togetherAlesiaLooks great, comfortable5
The Back Tension Failed after 3 MonthsAndreaThe tension that allows you to lean back failed after 3 months. Now I sit straight up and can't lean back. It's getting uncomfortable to be on 8 hrs a day while remote working.2
Very good.JohnLiked its color, appearance and with back support.5
Feels like I’m falling outTifanyThe chair looks good and putting it together was fine, but it feels like I’m falling out whenever I sit in it. It’s like it’s leaning forward. Is this normal?3
Not comfortable at allDominiqueMy husband bought me this chair. I sat in it one time and decided I need to return it because it is so very uncomfortable. If you like to lean back in your chair, definitely avoid. It has no lean and is a sit up super straight kind of chair. It also does not seem sturdy. My husband said it was difficult to get the screws in. Now I need to find a day to drive 1.5 back to the store to return it. The chair is pretty but that's about it.3
ComfyKatrishaThis chair is solid and comfy for a good price. Instructions were easy to understand.4
Highly uncomfortable and not at all lean backwoodsSangeetaWe bought this chair last year but somehow started using it recently since they were other chairs so this was kept in garage till last month. This chair is really bad and not comfortable at all and doesn't even lean backwoods comfortably. I called the return center and they said it's not acceptable since 180 days lapsed. I would not recommend anyone to buy this chair.1
Great chair but did not hold up over timeJohnI purchased this chair a few years ago for its style and comfort. It served well for a couple of years before the faux leather started to peel on the arm and head rests. Despite that, it was still usable... up until today when I leaned back in the chair and the arm supports cracked and split. BTW, I don't have a large frame (aprox 180 lbs.) but were I larger and it had fully split, I likely would've found myself on the floor!2
Nice replacement for my old chair!Harold S.Loving the new computer chair…..well made, with no unexpected problems regarding installation.5
Where is strongSanji R.I like the colour and design5
Difficult to put togetherStacieFinally got the chair together but was very difficult to get the last 2 screws in for the back.3
IT TILTS!JoeYou have to pull out the height adjustment lever to unlock the tilt feature!! Great chair5
