IKEA retrofitted for closet doorsIleanaI love these IKEA closet sliding doors. My husband is quite handy so he just made the opening of bedroom closet higher to the length of the doors and builds the frame of the closet with 2*4 wood and installed the sliding Pax doors to the new rebuilt frame. I love the option of the mirrored panels because it doubles as a full length mirror on one side for the bedroom. I like the quality of the panels and between two persons it’s easy to assemble. I like assembling IKEA furniture I find it relaxing and therapeutic. We had already done the same 2 years ago for the master bedroom closet as it adds so much more storage space. I use the Elfa system to do the closets on the inside. Super happy with my purchase and how modern the rooms look now and saves space when it’s sliding and not bifold doors. Thank You IKEA!5
