Found what I was looking for!MaybelleI have been scouting for a perfect chair for my home office that is ergonomic, comfortable and cheap at the same time - and I have found it! It has saved my back from that all day work. The adjustable armrest and backrest to make it lean is a plus, too! At this price, I am surprised with the materials that were used, especially the base of the chair is metal unlike the others that uses plastic and gets easily broken.5
I Love this chair!ReginaThe chair is great! At first i was a little put off, feeling like I couldn't sit back enough, like it was too shallow. Well I leaned back in the seat to recline and locked the back in the half reclined position & presto, I found the perfect depth of seat! Not only is it super comfy for me but the arms and seat have this soft matte feel that is so satisfying. The seat turns so smoothly when spinning around to get out of it and there are so many adjustments for the arms. They go up and down, forward and back. The reclining function is pretty great too. I saw some reviews talk about the netting on the back becoming loose where your back eventually touches the bar back there, but I sat in one at the Ikea store that had to have had lots of people sitting in it and didn't have that problem. I do know that my desk chairs will see me sitting up more than reclining so I don't think I have to worry about that. I mean I'll recline but not as much as I sit up to access the PC. Happy shopping!5
I wish I returned this chairTriciaHaving no option to tilt the back - I should've known and returned it. Unfortunately, I bought this and then did not use it for some time. I have to apply way too much force to make this tilt back to provide relief. 1
Seat cushion is terribleJasonOverall design is not too bad but it does have 1 big flaw. The cushion is terrible and after using for a year, has become flat with no support. Feels like im sitting on a hard bench after an hour. Im 5'9 and 180 lbs but its become so unbearable to sit in for work or gaming.1
The Worst DesignAylaSee that metal bar running up the back? See how there's only a small clearance between it and the mesh lining?
Guess what your spine rests against when the mesh naturally gives with time.
I've had this chair for almost two years. I work from home so I'm sitting in it a lot. Uncomfortable doesn't even begin to describe it. Also the wheels only work when you're sitting in it--what?1
Nice looking, too expensive for what it isOtibelThis chair have a clean and beautiful design, but it was too expensive for what it really is, I wasn't using it much, but now that I've been using it more frecuently, I've been noticing the flaws, the seat leans weirdly forward, the cushion gets flat if you seat for more than an hour, if you have carpets forget about rolling, is almost impossible. I tried buying the Kolon mat and the mat is not suitable for my needs. I cannot fix the rolling issue with new wheels because other brands won't fit. I past my 180 days for return, so I'm stuck with a beautiful, expensive and uncomfortable chair.3
Decent, but too expensive for what it is.TobiasI got this a few years ago, and while it's decently comfortable, there are better options at this price range. The main drawback is you can't rotate the arm rests. I'd recommend going either with the Markus - despite its lack of adjustable armrests - or buy a used Aeron chair for just a little bit more. Your money will go much farther with the latter in particular.3
not good for heavier peopleJoshuaI share this chair with someone 100lbs heavier than me. the chair's back net does not keep tension after like a year of frequent use, causing your spine to come into contact with the cold metal bar behind the net, not comfortable. better off getting a proper office chair or a different chair from ikea. 2

back mesh wears downAronChair was good until the back mesh started getting loose and my back was hitting the back support, making sitting quite uncomfortable. Wish I could get a refund or replacement.2
Roller Caster Problem MatkoChair looks good but does not meet expectation as a home office chair. Roller casters are rigid and even on hard wood floor have resistance on rug or carpet will not go over for sure. Try to complain to IKEA but returning item to IKEA without having a car not not a option for me. 2
Love itThomasEasy to assemble. Comfortable. I like the long back and that the arm rests adjust vertically and horizontally. My previous office chairs pleather cracked badly, so we were delighted that the salesgirl explained pleather conditioner and where to buy it. We plan to keep this chair a long time!5
Nice ergonomics but cushion sucksJuanLike how it keeps your posture straight. Lean back is nice and looks out. But the bottom seat cushion sucks it almost flat now. I’ve had it for almost a year and it’s not very comfortable anymore. Couple hours and my butt is done. Also wish the arm rest would swing out of the way since they do not go low enough to push into desk with drawers.2
Comfy Chair for Day to Day working at HomeHeatherUtilize this chair with no issues working at home, love the high back to give support and can easily move freely (arms, reach to side desk to grab etc) in chair without tipping.5
Awful, and uncomfortableAlexanderThis chair is awful, the bar that goes up the back sticks into your back and the bottom seat cushion padding squishes down in an hour.1
Not comfortableTomAfter assemble, seat has a slight downward tilt forward. I have read through the manual looking for a way to adjust and do not find one. I did not experience this when testing the one in the store.2
Comfortable chairAshiaThis chair is comfortable for working from home.5
Three real problems with this chairSethONE: The headrest broke-off within a week. I'm a furniture designer, and I took a careful look at the construction---and I saw that the headrest is attached with very tiny connections.
TWO: The headrest mechanism, which allows it to be set at different heights, has broken---so now the headrest just drops to the lowest height.
THREE: The back material stretches so that one's back rests against the metal chair structure---and that's very uncomfortable.
NOTE: I don't use this all day. Indeed, my use is fairly light---so I am not overusing or abusing this chair.
I can imagine this same design working very well, if the above three problems were seriously addressed in a second, improved edition of this chair. I hope they will try.
Thank you.2
My wife loves itAlannaThis chair is very comfortable. Love that the arms raise and lower and love that they also slide forward and backwards. Rolls very well and love that it leans back.5
ComfortableLeticiaNot very deep to sit I don’t know if it would work for a tall person, but for average is very good and comfy5
