A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. Beautiful CoverPatriceI bought this for my Nils armchairs because they stopped making the covers for them and to my pleasant surprise they fit perfectly. They are beautiful. I love them. Highly recommend would buy again.
MarenasAndreaI purchased Nils several years ago. I love them. They were wore and I was looking for a replacement cover. I was thrilled when I found this. The color was perfect. The fabric is so soft. Once again IKEA for the win.
Marenas...maybeSusanI bought 1 chair to try as I need six. 1. Perfect size. 2. Came with wooden dowels already in (great!) 3. The barrel holes were Goldilocks--a couple perfect, two two small and two two large, making assembly more difficult than necessary. 4. The paper label on the leg took more time to get off than to put the chair together and it was hiding scratches. 5. The dark legs perfect. 6. The cover was not well sewn in places (I will spare the deets) 7. The cover would NOT go on smoothly--I think in part due to uneven construction of cover, but the chair bottom cover had been stapled in a way that gave the foam seat a large center hump and not even close to squared corners of the video picture. I tried a 2nd cover and it was a better quality but the seat bottom shape will not allow a smooth fit of the seat. 8. Need to return and do not want to go through this to get 6 decent chairs.
Marenas chairJudie I have the older version (NILS )and movers broke one of them. I was bummed I couldn’t replace it. And now 2 yrs later this is the new version which is 99.9 identical to the old version. They changed the cushion of the chair more spring like and added zippers to the cover which make them easier to put on.
I’m not loving the new fabric of the cover tho. The old ones were canvas.
